Dahlin might be enough to finally get that team moving in the right direction, but for some reason I think they'll stay stuck in perpetual rebuild. Just seems like it's Buffalo's fate to never get out of the basement.

I don't see how this trade does anything for Buffalo. Perpetual losers.

I think the Blues have made some good moves in trading Shattenkirk and Statsny at the last two deadlines plus the Reaves deal. They had the assets to make this move. The Flames don't.

Who knows, but not probably great for Buffalo. Sounds like they had to dump ROR with issues with Eichel.

With that price, glad we got Neal.

Was pissed when we didn't get ROR but now we have Neal (who is a different player, but one we needed) and didn't give up any prospects or picks.

Crisis averted haha

This move pushes Bozak to #3C where he belongs. All in all St. Louis got stronger and while not in the same division I can see them being direct competition again for the wild card spots.

Sucks!
Just glad Treliving didn't give up yet another first round pick for a guy who is $1.75M more expensive than the UFA he just signed.

Mittelstadt will replace O Reilly's scoring as early as this season but this will hurt them defensively and in the faceoff department. I'd definitely rather be on the Blues end of the deal. I don't think Buffalo will suck forever though. Dahlin really does look special.

Is that what it was?

Ive been wondering why they have been on such a push to move him, he fits their timeline, csn plsy wing if they want middlestadt at center etc. Seemed like a great fit

Could have something to do with his end of season remarks.
