I like the question. Even though I know the answer.
Would you rather Oilers get number 1 pick and Flames pick they gave the Islander ends up at 14...or
Flames end up giving the Islanders the number 1 pick and the Oilers get 10

I know...was asking a question
Would you rather the Flames win the lottery (pick goes to the Islanders) or the Oilers
Serious question

The Flames pick will be #1 and the grease will win the lotto for #2
Everything always turns out as badly as possible
Except Johnny, idk what the Flames did to deserve him

You get what I was asking
Embarrassment if the Flames win the lottery...but the pick is already gone. competitively its better for the Flames if the top pick is sent out east as opposed to going to the Oilers
tough call

Cameron on 960, talking about the powerplay: "We talk about the other team's tendencies... give them some pointers... but the players have to let their skill take over".
Worked well for you over in Ottawa, eh Dave?

Big freaking deal Dave, why even mention a stat like that, it's really meaningless when there's collapses in every facet of the team's play. Whole team top to bottom wasn't good enough, your power play failed as usual, the whole organization has sadly failed this year.

Should coach up north with those kind of moral victories.

Well Smith was frigin garbage. Monahan and Backlund just are lower echelon 1st and 2nd line centers respectively, and Brodie and hamonic were their trainwreck selves again.
This team frigin sucks. A bunch of soft players too scared to shoot the frigin puck. That's the season. I'm ready to cheer for elimination so as to close the chapter on another tremendous season by a tremendous franchise.

Yeah I understand bringing it up when its like 20-5 in favor of the Flames but its so subjective I wouldn't be saying anything about having one more scoring chance.

Seriously though, a team that can limit the opposition to 4 SOG in the first period and still end up with 7 goals against? Hang your heads in shame...
|
Shows us just how fragile this team is emotionally. They can't handle adversity and crater when the going gets tough. Also makes me wonder if we have a true leader in the dressing room that is willing to kick a few arses when needed. There was no fight or emotion in the third period.

Did he mention anything about the beautiful 5-3 we had that he is in charge of?

And Smith is allowed to have off nights. When he has taken the team on his back to countless wins that would have otherwise been losses, the least the team can do is win a few for him.
Serious question but can we think of any game where the team has won for Smith on a off night or does this team literally live and die by Smith being one of the leagues best goalies on any given night.
Smells an awful lot like Montreal!!!
