Hey now, it's tough starting 60% of the time in the offensive zone.

Meh. It is what it is. Just like last year once the winning streak ends they go back to mediocrity. No matter what spin you put on it 4 loser points out of a possible 8 is bad. Well let's all hope the next winning streak comes before it's too late.

Well the extended break ruined the winning streak last time. All-star break with ruin the losing streak?

Did he actually say that? Because if so, no wonder this team plays like such #### consistently. Loser mentality. It's the same as playing prevent defense in football prevents wins.

Is there a more unprofessional broadcast than the Oilers crew?
The had to listen to the radio, on my way home, and as hard to imagine, that guy is even worse than Quinn, although remedea(whatever) it is, actually drags Quinn down.

But what a embarrassing game, like if the previous six loses to those loosers weren't bad enough.

They just can't beat the Oilers. It's easy money betting on these games. Seven straight losses. SEVEN!

Absolutely maddening.

But they DID show up. They were in full control of this game until the Dave Cameron special sucked all their momentum away and gave the Greasers life.

3rd period was dead even I thought, with crazy chances at both ends. Same with OT. If the Flames could remember how to finish, this game would have been over in the 2nd period.

Just the way it worked out.

If it was 2 wins, OT loss, win, Ot loss, 2 wins, OT loss, 2 wins, OT loss we’d all be fine but it’s really weird and frustrating to lose 4 straight in OT.

My biggest complaint is the PP. 0’fer against the Kings, Oilers, and Jets. Get a PP goal and those games are all completely different.

I’m still okay with this team and GG at 5v5 but I’d fire Cameron at this point.

Law of averages, I guess.

Had to even out after the many annual spankings the Flames laid on them.

Gotta see the play again because I thought Jankowski had a lot to do with that. Bennett should have buried the rebound but he has no finish. And regardless, for three periods, plus about 10 games before this one, hes become invisible again. It is a major problem. He consistently shows that hes terribly inconsistent.

Has GG set a record for 7 losses in a row to the Grease?

Because that's his go-to move. He doesn't have a great shot 1-on-1, but the ice was probably too bad for that move to work unfortunately.

Hahaha.

Of course I'm disappointed in what happened tonight, but I'm not gonna jump off buildings or take a steaming crap on the team.

They have points in 11 straight games. 18 out of a possible 22. Every team in this league would take that streak. Doesn't matter how it's unfolded with 7 wins follows by 4 losses. It's still a great run and as much as it stings to lose to Edmonton, we do take away a point.

The goal is to climb the standings and with this recent run, the flames have gone from 12th to PAC3 and will not be passed no matter what the results are tonight.

Playoff spot at the all star break? I'll take that given the sloppy first couple months.

Yep, it's the longest win streak the Oilers have had against the Flames in history.

Thanks Glen!

Is there anybody left that believes this coaching staff can take the Flames deep in the playoffs?
