Pretty much. It's easily the most active thread on the Fire On Ice board and it's just the same stuff being posted over and over again. How many times do we need to post about how much Schultz sucks?

The Matrix. I tried it twice and fell asleep both times. Maybe it's not the kind of movie for an old guy.

|
Okay, I'm going to step up and defend ciabatta. Yeah I like to say it, but I also love to bake it and eat it. Sure, it's not a great general purpose bread. Where it's fantastic is for particularly juicy sandwiches. It's perfect for pulled pork, for example, (has to be cut cross-ways, not in slices) because the airy texture soaks in the sauce, and then the crusty exterior provides structural integrity that few other breads have when faced with really juicy toppings. Also helps if you appreciate a slightly yeasty flavour in your bread. Yeah it's a little dry, but it's not a bread that's meant to be eaten on its own.
For me, bland bread means anything doesn't come from some sort of pre-ferment.

You played it all wrong. You should've asserted social dominance by letting your underlings know they mean nothing to you.

It's pretty much jumped the shark, but as long as it stays in one thread it's not so bad. What's worse is the "everything Edmonton sucks" seeping into so many other threads on the forums.

I hate office parties.
Every year I try to get out of going.
Every year my boss reminds my that as a manager I have to attend my office's party.

Just be drunk and obnoxious. Either they won't care if you don't go in the future, or you'll end up having fun because you're drunk and obnoxious.

Best part of owning my own company is dictating how the office party will go down. Last day before Christmas, I bring in lunch, we eat, and I let everybody go home (with a paid afternoon) as soon as we're done. No dressing up, no speeches, no significant others, no infringing on personal time. I know a vocal minority wants a big thing with dancing and stuff, but the majority is way happier with a little thing like that. Money saved goes into a VISA gift card for everybody.

I used to be of this belief; and probably actively attacked the drink on this forum. I used to curse it, despised the fact it was simply salty clam flavored tomato soup in a glass.
But over the last year, something happened, something.... magical, as a catterpillar becomes a butterfly, something changed in my inner core. And I became a Caesar drinker. You have to be in the mood for them (probably hungry), but when you're hankering for one, they can't be beat.

Nature - I appreciate that it's beautiful but I have no desire to spend any time in it for more than a couple hours max.
Red wine by itself - I like it paired with food but I don't really enjoy drinking red wine just to drink it.
People who think they need to support something just because it's Canadian. Support it if it's good, not just because it's Canadian.

This is the best idea. I officially never have to go to my wife's Christmas parties after a failed drunken magician's table cloth pull a few years ago.

I find them to be a great sipping and chatting drink.
A night out on the piss with nothing but Caesars would scare me.

So much agree. I often wonder what's going through someones head when they snap one of those things on a kids head.
OMG he/she looks so adorable! No he/she doesn't, he/she has that stupid wannabe sweatband on.

Who the hell likes warm toilet seats? I mean, sure it's pleasant, but it's so vastly outweighed by knowing why it's warm. I'm 100% sure 100% of people would take a cold virgin toilet seat over a warm sullied seat.
On top of that, barely anybody likes green or yellow cars. They're all blue, white, black or red.
