New stream detailing the new Incursion update for April 12th (dammit). Lots of neat things that will really hit the spot for those looking for proper and diverse PvE challenge beyond bullet sponges, as well getting closer to an RPG style build system.
Patch out later today or tomorrow for those farming/multi team methods. No news on backpack update. Sigh.
I'm wondering if the multi team method will apply to the DZ. I know the one they wanted to patch was the PvE ones.

This game is a mess. People cheesing the incursion are now in full 240 gear, and people trying to play legit are now penalized for not cheesing. I cant get a group to run the incursion on hard mode legit. Now the guys that cheesed are one shotting everyone in DZ.

I think they need to do two things.
1. Any person who exploited the Incursion needs to have all their 240 gear wiped.
2. Massive needs to create at least one new DZ bracket. At minimum they need to separate people with a GS of 240 by putting them in their own bracket. The idea that people running around with a GS of 168 can be grouped against those who have a GS 240 is no different than when fresh lvl 30's were getting bodied by people kitted out in full lvl 31 HE gear.
The success of this game is going to come down to how they deal with these exploiters. I think they need to set an example. I also think they need to set up a patch test server. Let people break the game and find exploits prior to a patch becoming official.

I just passed the incursion on hard the other day with some random people, and I've never actually been in a group that wanted to cheese. What is your gear score? Maybe you are higher than me so they think you want to cheese?
I've been booted from groups many times before I even get the game loaded.
I believe they do have a 240 gear bracket, but if you throw some items in your stash and go with a really low level item to drop your GS you get bumped down.
You actually have to move the items in your stash to another character. The game takes into account everything including whats in your stash.
Only reason I know this is because my friends and I dropped our gear score to 159 or lower so we can actually go into the DZ and not get one shotted. But we had to move all our HE gear to a seperate character as it kept putting us in the 161+ bracket even though our gear score was 159 with our 182 stuff in the stash.
And my team and I did the incursion legit, but because our session owner already did it we didn't get any rewards... almost felt like cheesing it because of that but refrained. I have people on my friends list that are over 210 and have no idea how to actually run the incursion.
Any interest in trying a CP hard mode incursion? I'm GS 176 and have a buddy at 179. We have made it to wave 12-13 and had a guy d/c. Would love to try tomorrow

They do need to send a message. The hardcore players, will whine, but still come back, but the casual players that get dusted in 1 shot will probably trade the game in.

Tried today and got to wave 13 with no issue then one guy decided that he needed to get a better angle on some guys and died pretty much in the middle of the map and the dominoes started to fall after that.
You guys are setting up shop in the trench in the middle of the map right? That's the best spot, head there right at the start and stay there.
The best spot is on the roof. You don't even get hit there..........
On a serious note when we did it we went in the middle and had two guys throwing down shock turrets to stun the shot gunners, the immu and heal kits on everyone and it went rather smooth. I shot maybe 3 guys the entire time so I sure they could have 3 manned it.

Tried running earlier with some random matchmaking. First group kicked me cause I didn't want to glitch it. The other group kicked me because my gear score of 182 wasn't high enough. Logged out and played Destiny instead haha
There are just too many issues right now, the amount of exploiting still going on in the incursion means a ton of people are running around with 200+ gear score and have simply no clue that gear score is not as important as the stats you roll, 2ndary especially.
I ran a challenge today with 192gs but with solid rolls, not ideal but I had exotic dmg resistence, good armor, you know survavibility. These morons who throw on all dmg gear and have zero ability to survive one shot from a shotgunner in challenge are ridiculous. All of the group was 195 and one guy at 202, I had to revive them so often and was even killing faster than anyone to such a degree one guy asked if I was hacking..
I think they need to diablo the hell out of this game, the expansion where they did loot 2.0.
But that only touches the surface of all that is wrong, this game has so much potential but the DZ hacking is out of control, the 240s running around 2 shotting me gets old fast, but you feel you have to grind to 75 in DZ for 2 godly weapons, even though I kind of loathe the pvp that I have experienced. I'm a pve guy.
Then I go in for an incursion, and people give up after one wipe, even though its really not that hard if you go down in that bunker in the middle and rinse and repeat the bomb until the APC is dead.
I'm considering waiting now til the next incursion to play much, maybe just work on mats for now, go with friends if they are doing DZ, but I'm not sure.

I really enjoyed the game but after a few weeks it just felt like it wasn't going anywhere and I was just playing for the sake of playing not because I was actually enjoying it
Apparently there is a new glitch to bump up your DPS up to ridiculous levels.
It's funny, I haven't run into anyone who wanted to cheat on the incursion and I don't think I've run into any cheaters in the DZ. There have been times I have been killed quickly by a rogue, but I was running around DZ6 by myself with a GS of 179.
