Level 15 here, yep getting bored too much of a grind, grouping with people is often awful and a joke in missions and the DZ raped me 1 min in to walking in there lol.

Seems like I need to give the DZ more effort though.

Level 22 here, been playing through with a couple buddies having a great time. Also headed into the DZ for a bit and enjoyed it a lot, though it sucks when you are so close to extracting good gear and you get killed and lose it. Just makes it all the more sweeter when you get your extraction off though.

Oh and for those of you that didn`t go into the DZ before level 14, you aren`t going to be able to buy anything for a while. Once you pass level 14 you need to be a level 30 in the DZ to buy anything from the vendors.

At least the playerbase is encouraging (meaning we'll see new content, faster), as it's been the third most-played game on Steam all weekend (#s don't include Ubi-only players, like myself since I bought from GreenmanGaming).

Just to clarify that for others; you'll need to be rank 30 in the DZ not a level 30 character. DZ ranks go up to 50. While I was running around at level 18/19 I did manage to find some decent rank 10 blueprints from a safe house vendor in DZ03.

Hit 30 over the weekend and started Dark Zone. So Intense!

Managed to get my first Yellow, a secondary uzi called Midas.

I can think of few more intense gaming moments then that. Killed the named guy that gave the drop and me and my buddy started the extraction. Got swarmed by like 10 31 yellows and got killed. My buddy held it down until I could run back and get my gear, before extracting.

Honestly, some of the most stressful, but fun, gameplay I have played in years.

Level 22 here. I had fun on the weekend just soloing. Tried the DZ at around level 18, got absolutely slaughtered when I ran around a corner and into a group of 7 baddies that were level 21 (which it seems there are a lot more of the baddies than in the beta). But went back at level 22 and had fun. There is better equipment and it was nerve racking when you go to the extraction zone and there are 4 others and wondering which one is going to attack me. Nothing happened, but the nervous feeling actually made the game better for me.

Game overall is better than the beta, but I do agree that leveling can be a grind with the same type of missions. I just look at as leveling my character for the DZ. Think I will be spending more time there.

It is also fun to play around with your character and try different skills and weapons. Find out what works together and what doesn't.

You guys are so fortunate to not have to play with Russians, its amazing how in all EU games I play they are always the ones everyone loathes.

I played Rainbow Six with a Russian yesterday.

He got mad at something (No idea what, he was speaking Russian) and C4'd the whole team before quitting.

Playing with Russian dudes is great because they always mic spam in Russian continually throughout the game (regardless of whether anyone playing speaks Russian or not), and then rage quit before it finishes.

Hoping to get a dedicated 4 man (8 man?) for incursions once they come out. Any CP'ers interested?

Finally hit 30 and spending time in the DZ... solo sucks, as your just a sitting duck half the time. Definitely need a group. We were having fun going rogue as a group too. Survived 3 man hunts in a row. The patch made it so much better now as getting killed as a rogue isn't as punishing as it was.

I thought I'd grow tired of the grind but I'm not... even if it's just doing a farming run for crafting materials to continue to look for that god roll vector. I find it rather relaxing. Looking forward for the incursions in April

Yeah I saw it. Tried it. Failed miserably at it haha

I've actually been farming the event center challenge. A high end gear piece, and level 31 weapons, with the chance she drops another high end, and 30 phoenix credits.

We've been actually running it pretty consistently in around 20-30 mins so we found it was a little bit of a better use of our time.

Got lucky last night and got "Midas" dropped in DZ1. I did the MSG farming for a bit today, wasn't too bad but I would rather farm in the DZ.

Right in DZ1 if you go in the left check point there is a subway entrance just down the street on the bit on the left side. I went down in there and there was a named enemy and a couple chests. I would go kill him, then clear out the extraction area and extract, then not long after he would respawn. That guy gave me the Midas and a yellow holster.

I'm getting a lot of hate right now for revealing how to play with 2 teams in the DZ. Basic idea is if you have 5 friends and want to run together in the DZ, there is a way to do this by creating 2 teams that can be on the same server instance.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULAmZpMXlAM

Apparently, this is old news, but the new players have no idea this works, seems like only people from the beta days know about this.

Crafted a high end backpack and now I haven't been able to login for weeks. Wonder when they'll fix it.

It's a pretty well known issue, he isn't alone.

New stream detailing the new Incursion update for April 12th (dammit). Lots of neat things that will really hit the spot for those looking for proper and diverse PvE challenge beyond bullet sponges, as well getting closer to an RPG style build system.

Patch out later today or tomorrow for those farming/multi team methods. No news on backpack update. Sigh.
