Giordano is probably the worst Flame right now, he needs his ice time cut until he can sort things out.

Flames have taken a lead 20 times this year. They've only kept that lead three times. In other words, they've blown a lead 17 times. Oh, and of those three leads Calgary has managed to hang onto, one of them was the game in Edm where they took the lead with 9 seconds left.

This is in no way a "fire Hartley" post but that was an absolutely terribly coached game. Why on earth was Frolik not on our second powerplay unit? He had a great game but for some unknown reason Jones and Colborne were out there. Wideman should have been nowhere near the ice at the end of the game. WTF was Hartley thinking with that one?

I disagree
Calgary 0/2 on the pp
Anaheim 2/2 on the pp
Special teams - That was the difference

Gaudreau struggled after taking that massive HACK to the hands that was shortly followed by a Ducks f***ing powerplay and goal.
Stuff like that makes me hate the game and that ugly-ass team of meatheads even more.

Everything else. That was nothing short of horrible. Boudreau outcoached Hartley by a long shot.

On the bright side I thought Hamilton looked good out there. More physical than usual.
Giordano is a continuing concern. It's more than 20 games now. This is more than a coldstreak.

Worst game I've seen johnny have.
Raymond out muscled off 2 plays, one nearly cost us the game (Kessler post). Too soft.
The defence is standing in quick sand. Standing around attempting to pass through the trap without skating.
We lack confidence or skill and are dumping and chasing instead of carrying the puck. Turn over machines.
Only bright spot IMO was Bennett. Frolik and Brodie were reliable. Rest was horrible.

Don't forget about Brodie. He was playing short handed when Gio was out there.

Can the flames even do that? Who do they give all the extra minutes to? Not Wideman , he should have minutes cut. Engelland? Bring in Smid for a game? Brodie can only play so much. Hamilton should also not be getting extra minutes. It's not like the flames can just recall some D-men from Stockton if nobody is hurt.
