The curse is just too strong. Threw down $20 on the Ducks when it was 2-0 Flames. Easy money.
A couple big divisional match-ups coming up Friday and Saturday. Win those two and our season isn't over.

This team is so incredibly soft on the puck. They lose just about every battle.
They don't do anything with a purpose. Try and dump it in, half ass it, gets blocked, they clear.
Short handed and both D men get caught up the ice in a 3-3 game, trying to join the rush. Giordano, the captain should know better but seems like he's just mailed it in after getting his monster contract. Not to mention how many times he got burned wide.
I honestly can't believe last year even happened after watching the first quarter of the season.
Wideman, Giordano, Raymond all horrible again.
Bennet and Frolik the only bright spots.
It is going to be a long year.

Flyers own the Penguins so it must be Pittsburgh can't win in Philly.

The Flames aren't a good team, thus result was to be expected.

Worst game of the year candidate.
Loving Frolik, Bennett, and Brodie. That's about it.

I would point this at one place. The goalie. When a goalie lets a softie in like that, regularly, it tends to have a deflating effect upon the team in which they quickly become disillusioned and stop playing as well.

The curse continues. Flames lose 5-3. Score flatters Flames.
Please Hartley:
Gaudreau-Bennett-Frolik
Hudler-Monahan-Colborne
Jooris-Backlund-Raymond
Ferland-Stajan-Jones
Brodie-Hamilton
Russell-Gio
Smid-Engelland
Special Teams:
Gaudreau-Bennett-Colborne
Brodie-Hamilton
Hudler-Monahan-Frolik
Russell-Gio

Giordano was responsible for the 4th goal, that is a play that a peewee dman does not make.
When you sign a dman who has had 2 good seasons and will be 33 before the start of his new contract to a 6 year deal that pays him as the 9th highest paid dman in the league you better be damn sure he is that good.

Giordano and Wideman were on another level of bad. Cringe worthy stuff from those two. Truly.
FFS the Ducks were averaging 1.7 G/G.

Some people seem to give Ramo a pass no matter what.
Almost like it's impossible for a goal to be his fault. Even when he gets beat by a weak shot it's because Wideman gave the puck away, Hamilton didn't cover his man etc....
It's possible for players to make mistakes and still have a goalie that makes a save. That's what 25+ other teams have.

Yah, that first goal was soft, went right through Ramo. I really don't understand Hartley's insistence of Ramo no matter what. Give Ortio another freaking chance already. What'st he worst that can happen? He looks like Ramo?
