So are Flames fans hoping for a Hawks win tomorrow or a Jets win?

I smell a hungry Blackhawks team coming to beat LA Monday!

Devin Dubnyk has to be given Hart consideration at this point.

Thanks to Minny, our fate is now back in our hands. As long as we go on a mini streak, and win in any way shape or form against the Kings, we still have a very good shot. Getting Nashville on the good side of a back to back could be a blessing right now.

That's a huge break for the Flames. Thank you, Wild! Flames just need to take care of business in Nashville tomorrow, and things will look a little brighter around here.

Man, the last two games of the season look like they are going to take 10 years off my life. There is a very good chance either of those games or both, could be win and in. It will probably be more stressful than the bloody playoffs.

I love it!

If the Jets beat the Hawks the wildcard would be next to impossible to get into. Lowest WC at 92 points would be nasty for us right now, regardless of the team (Not trying to be a Jets hater).

We need as many ways in as possible

Absolutely. Still hard for me to believe he'd get that win over Price, even as spectacular as he has been. His record since the trade to Minny is remarkable though.

Didn't think that at all, I just think Chicago might be catchable now and vulnerable. Boy wouldn't that be funny to see them fall out of the playoffs.

Hawks have 94 points and 8 games left. They would literally have to lose them all, or 1-7.
Way more likely the Jets go 3-4 than the Hawks 1-7, imo.

I didn't think of the scenario of Chicago collapsing out of the playoffs. If their was a 100% chance of them falling out I would cheer for Winnipeg, but right now, I have to go with the better option

If the Jets lose, I'm hoping it's because Pavalec gets back to his meh ways. If they're gonna lose a 0-1 game I won't be too excited.

If the Blackhawks lose, I won't know how to feel. A full on collapse would be amazing but we don't have any head to heads with them left to make any useful ground. We've got head to heads with the Jets and Kings otoh.

Whatever happens, just no 3-point game please.

Thanks to my girlfriend's family and their weird obsession with the Blackhawks, I've watched a lot of their games this year and they've slowed down a lot, the last game two games vs Philly and Columbus they weren't even skating. Definitely missing Patrick Kane right now.

I am really surprised about Chicago's collapse. I thought they would be worse without Kane but not this bad. If not for Crawford playing unreal the Flames would be close to passing the Hawks in the standings.

Dallas looks bad. That would be a frustrating team to cheer for with zero defence.

Totally agree with you. However, if there was ever a schedule that might increase those odds - it's Chicago's (Wpg, LA, Van, Buf, St. LouisX2, Minnesota and Colorado). Aside from the Sabres, they play some good teams, teams fighting for a playoff spot, the lowly Sabres, and the Avs who look pretty good lately. Hopefully it's more likely that they do us a favour and win those three games against the Jets, Kings and Nucks.

On another note, it's still possible that the two wild card teams might end up being recent Cup champs (Hawks and Kings).

Yeah exactly - much better to hope that they get hungry and take it out on the Jets, Kings, and Canucks.
