I'm actually disappointed with Colborne this season, thought he'd show more. He's big and has a good IQ for the game, but he just isn't using his size, speed or hands effectively enough. I wouldn't mind seeing him used as a trading chip for upgrading our RW.

Have teams not been doing this? Or are the Wild excellent at keeping him comfortable? I'm not advocating anything like run into him full speed or anything, but I would be doing absolutley everything to throw him off a bit.

He is 10' tall and 600 lb*. That's why.
* minor exaggeration

This.
Honestly every time I watch Colborne it's just frustrating. He is big and is able to easily strip the puck off of opponents in the corners but then he can never seem to do anything with it. It's like the moment he is pressured his hands shut off and he loses the puck in a rather clumsy manner.
I'd be A-OK with trading him.

lol Byron is our savior?
I think he'll be a downgrade on pretty much anyone you can replace him with.
Either way the Flames need a big win tonight. I guess we'll see what they're made of.

I think Granlund has been slow, not strong on the puck and simply lost on the play most of the time. He simply hasn't been good since being recalled IMO.

Byron adds a lot of speed to the Flames lineup. It allows the Flames to play a much more aggressive, stretch game. He is an important part of keeping the d on the other team backed off the blue line. He also is a very good penalty killer.
Saviour? No. Important team player? Yes.
It will be great to have him back.

I disagree completely.
He was useless for the vast majority of the season. He's fast, but he's not good enough to play with players that utilize his speed. Who cares how fast he is if he can't read a Gaudreau set up or if he's playing with Bollig.
I hope he proves me wrong but he has hands of stone.

Granlund is in a similar position to where Horak was a while ago, just gotta be patient with him.

Thanked for Hudreauhan. Definitely the best I've seen for mashups.

Rog thinks Byron is in:

I believe Paul Byron will be in the lineup for #Flames. Out 17 games with high ankle sprain. About to take warmup watch for it.
