Your opening line in response (in bold) is incomplete or unclear. Inclusive of what?

"My flames" is possessive, "we" is inclusive.

It's accurate thing to say "As humans we've landed on the moon", but you cannot say "we landed on the moon as Americans" no matter how emotionally invested or how many times you've visited the states.

You are correct that my level of attachment and purchasing power doesn't entitle me to any results or decisions. I never claimed it did, but it does entitle me to an interest and to voice my opinion on our [mutual interest] team.

I didn't mean to suggest you felt that way, I just mean that by including yourself as a flame it sideways you are entitled as a member of the organization.
Having said that, I always say "we" and get made fun of for it

People get wrapped up in stupid peeves
But, as the players come out on ice at the start of the game which Beesley announcement is correct?
1) "please welcome THE CALGARY FLAMES"
2) "please welcome YOUR CALGARY FLAMES"

Bouwmeister took a 1.5 million pay cut in a cap rising environment. He himself knows that he is not a true top end player. He may be the best #2 defenceman in the NHL though.
St.Louis do have an exceptionally deep line up, but without that elite level forward to be a difference maker I don't see them ever winning more than one playoff round.

Either one is correct. But if "we" are the flames, he would just announce "please welcome...you"

My girlfriend rented us a room downtown tonight, so I was lucky enough to pick the restaurant. Needless to say there will be many TV's with the game on. Romance.

I'm still a Bouw fan, and would love to have him on this team (if we could modify time/space and somehow also have Poirier and Hunter Smith, mind you). Now that Gio and Brodie have emerged as a viable top pairing for us, I feel that Bouw would fill a good role and provide an excellent complement in not having to be "the guy".
Of course, if Bouw had been around all this time, Brodie likely wouldn't have played the minutes he has and gained the experience that has lifted him to his current heights.

First game I am going to watch live this year. Go Flames Go!
This is the first game where I hope they can surprise a team that most seem to believe are better than the Flames. I will be keen to see how they fight this game and respond (either way) against the preds.
Keep the 5pm (midnight local for me) games coming.

The set is overkill, but I do like how they're giving a snapshot of each matchup.
The generrible music needs to go, though.

panel is good though, Stombo, Friedman, Cox, Messier and Kypreos. They're giving good statistics.
Anything but PJ Stock, Weekes and Healy. That was a disaster.
