the first half of Sven's games were on a better team than we have currently with a better goaltender. Also should be noted that all but a small handful of those Sven games came at an older age than Monahan.

It's such an awful mentality. Not sure why Flames fans on CP are trying to rip apart their own prospect base...the negativity is completely unwarranted at this stage.

It isn't about Baertschi Vs. Monahan, they're teammates and have even played well together! Monahan's best offensive times have happened while Baertschi was on his wing.

Amen. To many posters, our prospects are merely commodities, or video game characters. Certainly not human beings. If I was a player, I would never come here, and if I did, I would start to seriously loath these so called "fans."

Holy hell. It's not negativity. People are excited about Monahan, so someone is trying to point out that sven is right there too. Why are we all trying to be on high horses in here?
