Superman....terrible movie. I don't know what they called that filming technique, but I'll call it crap......I am assuming that this movie unfortunately made enough money to justify superman 2.......

Man of steel was terrible. Worst movie of the year candidate.

Movie 43. Awful. Just plain awful. I don't mind crude humour, but it is just bad.

Maybe I don't understand the Superman mythology enough, but I enjoyed Man of Steel more then any other Superman movie. Basically, for the first time in a movie, I didn't think the character completely sucked. It was hardly a great movie (Im looking at you, scene on the highway with the dog) but hardly worst movie of the year candidate.
Just picked up Bad Grandpa on early iTunes release, and thought it was great. I feel the world needs more dumb humour like the Jackass guys bring. Some of the sketches had me in laughing pretty good. Recommend for a turn your brain off and laugh night.

I'd honestly be interested in Tinordi providing a few movies he actually likes, as in all my time here I don't remember him liking a single new movie. Everything is the worst movie of the year according to him.

Or maybe actually giving some sort of explanation as to why that movie is not favorable.

I bet Tinordi cheered when they shot Old Yeller.

He's more negative than moon IMO. Man of Steel is a fine film and it kept me entertained.

I thought Man of Steel was far, far better than Into Darkness which didn't feel like a Star Trek movie at all.

I thought MoS was one of the worst movies of the year. However, I went with 6 people. 3 really enjoyed and 3 hated. It really seems to be a like or hate no middle ground movie.
I didn't think either actors were good choices and couldn't make me care about either the hero or villian. The fight scenes, while cool in the theaters, were the same thing over and over again.
Was actually watching the time waiting for it to end for the last 30 mins

Maybe there were easter eggs for the older fans that gave it away earlier but I didn't notice them. Either way, I think it gets some harsh critizism from fans that were expecting the Khan from Star Trek II. People going into movies based on old material that are hoping to see exactly what they envisioned for their beloved characters are always going to be disappointed. Not because one is worse than the other, its just because it isn't what YOU wanted/remember. The new Khan was going to be different than the old Khan. If people can't understand that going in I don't know what to say.
Rent?.... What is this word?

Sorry, I meant to say illegally download.
Also, I must be part of the idiotic masses because I also liked Into Darkness, Man of Steel, and some of the other films all the professional movie critics here seem to hate. But I try to not let some peoples long unreadable rants get in the way of my enjoyment.

Not sure how I feel about Wolf of Wall Street yet. 2/3 of it were great, but the last 1/3 really dragged. Which might be kind of the point? The more I've talked about it since I saw it, the more I have appreciated how everything wrapped up.

I think a lot of movies have this issue. It seems like writers don't know how to end movies, or, by the time a studio is done with a script it gets ruined. Anchorman 2 has an insanely brutal final 15 mins. Star Trek Into Darkness ..same thing. On and on and on.

Yeah it was different but I liked it. I thought it was a strong effort from Joseph Gordon-Levitt who who wrote, directed, and stared in it. The guy is talented.

Finally got around to watching Elysium the other night.
It really wasn't awful. I mean, it certainly was missing all the commentary and subtlety of District 9, and the characters were pretty poorly written and often made dumb decisions, but it was cool popcorn, and the FX were nice.
Pretty middle of the road, but defo not the bottom 5 for the year.

Yeah, it wasn't terrible, but I expected more than a popcorn flick based on Blomkamp behind it. I was just really disappointed.

Don't forget Jodie Fosters horrible accent. If I thought Elysium was average a quick montage of Jodie Foster would easily have me place it in the worst of 2013 category.
