Could be Saoirse ("seer-sha") or Sorcha ("sore-ka"... ish). Both are Irish. You can hear Frank McCourt pronounce both here:

My Scottish friends named their son Ben Nevis. He's named after a mountain!

Used to be my family's realtor. That's hilarious that she still hasn't changed it.

Worked with a girl named Crystal Semen. Not sure what her parents were thinking there. Strangest name I ever encountered was when I was at Shaw and called up a customer's account. Last name Head, first name Oral. They had a thick accent that I couldn't place, so I imagine that they had a bit of a shock when they immigrated to Canada and learned what their name meant here

I went to school with a guy named "Hymen Chu" for a couple of years, but it was when we were too young to understand how brutal his name really was. At the time we just thought it was funny because if you said it really quickly it sounded like you were sneezing lol.

It's going to be awesome when all of these people do a Google search of their names some day, and sign up on CP.
"Ken Tuckey". That works on a lot of different levels. I am sure his parents thought that would divert attention away from the obvious "Turkey" based name insults. Not many creative spins you can do with "Ken Tuckey", aside from "Ken Turkey".

There's still a sign in that plaza on the east side of Crowchild between 17 and 33 ave that has the word Dyck on it...
