Remember when the Flames would never score with the net empty? They have done that a few times this year.

Great effort. I thought SOB played like a man possessed.

Wooooooooooo!!!!!

What an awesome game - you could just feel the come-back coming

Possibly the quietest I've seen the building, for the first half of the game. But the crowd started getting into it and got louder and louder. When Gio tied it, it was full playoff-loud.

This team never quits.

Backlund a beast again. Byron too. O'Brien was awesome. Everybody kept working hard. So many chances, really glad they found a way to win.

Merry Christmas everyone.

He got the assist according to TSN BoxScore..
so 2 assists in the game, 5 goals, 10 assists on the year.

edit: sorry that was on the 2nd goal.. So if he got that one it would be 3 assists in the game.

The Flames have won the last 5 Flames games I've attended.

Something to think about.

Give me your tickets.

There were atleast a couple of times when Butler turned the puck over in the d zone but Berra bailed him out. Then Butler would hold a puck in the offensive zone that will create a chance for the Flames. Showed some feistiness as well when he took the penalty cross checking the Blues player.

O Brien was very involved in the game. Taking the puck deep, making solid passes. Was impressed with his game today.

Hudler is a magician. His entire shift prior to his goal, was quite a treat to watch.

The shift right before Gio's goal was probably the best of his career.

Monahan MAKES that goal happen to tie it up.

Blocks out Backes, throws the stick up to show the lane and holds his position as Backes tries and fails to get around him.

He also interferes with Bouwmeester just that little bit off the draw for the first chance by Cammalleri.

Such a smart player. Plays that win you games.

Its like he is teasing me.... giving me hope that those beautiful jerseys will be coming back.
I'm guessing he just had red sock tape covering the black stripe of his socks. The retros had the old gold/white/gold color scheme:
