He has problems with his game (overplaying the puck, losing his net, cheating off posts).
The NHL is not the place to be fixing this stuff. Granted, he's better than he used to be, but still frighteningly unreliable.

Ramo is the same, just a different brand of scary (King of the 40 foot rebounds, has all the lateral agility of King Kong ascending the Empire State Building, etc).

Neither one should be here in 2 years time, and that's ok for a rebuild.
You should have been a writer!! Don't forget we are still in a rebuild it will get better.

How would you rather they lose?
Putting forth a half assed effort?
Not scoring any goals of their own?

I'd rather this young growing team works hard and fights every game. If they make some bone headed plays, if the rookie goalies allow a soft goal every game so be it. We're in the first year of a long overdue rebuild. Let's wait until next season before we jump off any buildings.

If Dal Colle wasn't a LWer, I'd say yes.

Right now I'm looking at Sam Bennett and Leon Draisaitl, or hope that Reinhart or Ekblad falls.

don't get why everyone is upset. Yeah, they blew a lead late in the game, but they also outshot one of the best teams in the league 22 to 9 over the first 40. Just couldn't close the deal and it sucks that they blew another lead late, but it's year 1 of the rebuild after all and I have seen much more painful games vs the Bruins than this one. Lots of positives to take from the first 40 minutes.

only thing that really pissed me off was that the fans booed when Russell blocked Iginlas EN attempt. Iginla deserved all the applause and standing ovations and everything, but booing the Flames for denying a goal against is not cool at all.

Good post. People want to bash Berra, fine, he's let in some softies no doubt. But what annoys me the most is the people that pretend Ramo is any better. He's just not. I get the need to search for someone to blame, but come on.

I think the end gesture by the Bruins truly show you 2 things;

1) How great of a guy Iggy is
2) How great of a captain Chara is

Agreed. Not only would those two help offensively, but they would push a guy like Paul Byron, who isn't contributing much of anything, down the depth chart or into the pressbox.

Flames are what they are - a rebuilding team. As such, they need to put forth complete 60 minute efforts without lapses to eke out a win. Boston is a serious Stanley Cup contender. The difference in the team compositions is immense - even with them battling the flu. Sucks that the Flames lost after such a great start, but that also has to do a lot with the push from Boston.

The difference between a great team and a good team is that they find a way to win, even when they don't deserve to.

I am just happy the Flames were in the game until the last minute.

Tribute was great to see. Fans were really into it. Aside from booing the blocked empty-net attempt, it was perfect.

the booing is the only thing that had me pissed off...seems like most of CP can agree on this

man did the Senators ever eff that up by keeping Redden over Chara.

They would have at least 1 cup by now.

Don't forget Hudler is the magic man, he proved it last game, "Now you see it now you don't!!"
