With the CFL serious about expanding to ten teams I want them to seriously consider expanding active rosters sizes. Something like a 50 man roster, 46 dressed, 4 scratched.
The injuries to Hamilton's receivers and in-game injuries (two) to their defensive backfield depleted them. I think that played a big part into why they got spanked around tonight and the more depth you have on your active roster the better. They already expanded practice rosters from 7 to 9 because of the expansion draft.

I wonder what his numbers are against the west only?

He must have a winning record against the West too? We won MTL's last two Grey Cups vs. SASK.

Still early, but Durant is on pace for 54 TD's, that would shatter the single season mark of 48 by Flutie.
EDIT: Read on twitter that ESPN is showing CFL highlights on SportsCenter. That must make diehard NHL fans blood boil, right?

Not really considering a lot of CFL games are being broadcast down in the States on ESPN 2 and ESPN 3.

Interesting. The Argos cut Brandon Issac:
@TorontoArgos: #Argos have also announced the release of DL Nekos Brown, OL Michael Di Domenico and LB Brandon Isaac: http://ow.ly/neCFz

Not that interesting or shocking just ask Cory Boyd. You don't want to block for your QB properly in protection schemes and the fact you were leading the league in rushing at the time. If you try and do too much and are out of position a lot on defence despite the coach warning publicly that guys are doing this. Now ask Brandon Issac. Scott Milanovich is truly a man of his words. Maybe Ed Hervey/Kavis Reed should ask Scott Milanovich for the definition of "consequences". Just saying.
Also, sticking with the that team Chad Kackert is expected to be out 4-6 weeks, but Scott Milanovich said it can go either way. Sott Milanovich also said Ricky Ray is day to day. I'm going with 4-6 weeks as well for Ricky Ray as he is a slow healer.

I don't think he's got a winning overall record vs the West although I haven't done the research. The Stampeders have owned them for the most part for years now and he always loses in BC place. There is some merit to the Als having it so easy in the East as Toronto, Hamilton and Winnipeg are always in the running for the 5-8 spots in the league pretty well every season.
I still think he was a great QB but he did benefit from being part of a quality organization that played in a perennial poor conference.

Simoni Lawrence must be finally be healthy or they are making room for Brandon Issac? Maybe its both? Maybe they just slot Shomari Williams in? Maybe its all three of them?
Also, Anyone else find it funny that Rey Willams was cut by Hamilton because he apparently was old and slow and couldn't cover the run (to save some money as well) is one of the best defense players through the first four weeks of the season. And who did they replace him with none other then Shomari Williams, who IMO isn't very good.

Justin Goltz is starting for Winnipeg tomorrow.
Darian Durant back in a walking boot as he said his foot swelled up the last few days. He didn't practice either.

Kavis Reed has no idea what to do.
Reilly started. Crompton came in and now Kerry Joseph is at QB. Still in the second quarter.
What an ugly football game. Montreal is brutal as well

The Alouettes are terrible.
EDIT: And the Eskimos are worse. Wow.

Wow. Edmonton out sucked Montreal. Although the second half was fairly entertaining.
Edmonton had time for 2 plays on the goalline. Poor clock management by Reilly. Needed to get the snap off as soon as the clock started.

And what on earth is up with all the shotgun handoffs on short yardage plays?
Whitaker basically won the game for Montreal on his own.

Probably a bad call to not have a review, but it wasn't a TD anyway. Reilly waiting for a review was brutal. CFL should be automatic from the 1 and he had two cracks at it but pissed it away.

They reviewed Whitaker clearly being stopped by Munoz a minute before. That play should have been reviewed. Again, what a bunch of BS .
