Don't think he looked out of place last night, played pretty good, IMO...

he had some good shifts, and then at times he seemed to lose the puck in his feet.

Surprised to see him out there in the last minute with an empty net. Also surprised that backlund still isn't put out during these moments of a game.

Since the deadline brodie has been getting massive minutes. I hope they start doing the same with backlund.

Remember Backlund is injured, likely playing all the minutes he can right now.

I liked what I saw of Nystr... I mean Reinhart out there. Looked pretty good. He looks like he'll develop into a quality 3rd/4th line guy out there that'll throw a hit and make the right plays most of the time, especially once he gets more experience.

I agree with the consensus that he'll be a solid 3rd liner, hopefully. Played a pretty solid game, seems strong along the boards. I didn't realize how big he was/plays. Seems solid.

While he worked hard in the corners he still needs to add some strength. I wouldn't have a problem if he was in the Flames line-up next season but not if he's getting less than 10 minutes a game. He would be better off in the AHL.

Could mean Stajan's a no go for Monday, I would guess. Thanks to Bieksa.

Flames need to develop him into a 3'rd line hard minutes center. He can win faceoffs, is fast, pays with an edge and understand how to play defense.

Who knows, maybe he can surprise and turn into an offensive guy but this team hasn't had a shutdown center since langkow left. very important position to have.

I'm prett sure last nights broadcasters were saying Reinhart would be playing center against the Av's and that was near the start of the 3rd period. That was well before Stajan's hit.

tbqh - Reinhart looked both slow and lost out there for the time I saw him on the ice. Hope it is just a little stage fright and that he is a batter player than what I saw.

And for god's sake - keep your jersey out of your pants.

I think you need to watch him before the end of a shift

Nice to see a player who was acquired as a centre who actually wants to play centre.

I didn't see the slow that you're talking about. I thought he kept up pretty well.

I also thought he was pretty good in terms of his forecheck.

He lost his position on a few occasions but that's to be expected.

Overall it was a decent debut, not stunningly great but decent.

I didn't notice that at all. I thought Reinhart seemed to handle the pace really well and show a lot more energy and potential to play in the bigs than most recent call-ups. In regards to most impressive debut in the past few years, I'd put it behind Sven's debut last season and Aliu's sort of fluke last games last year.

I was really impressed and I really don't think the kid will have any trouble moving up to the NHL sometime next season.

He also grew up as a canucks fan, so hopefully he's got that out of his system.

Anyone have highlights of the game at all? Stupid Gamecenter highlights aren't showing a video feed, just a blank screen.
