It definitely won't stop them from diving.
I am happy for Reinhart it doesn't hurt that call-ups earn a little more while up with the bug club.,

He's looked pretty good so far! Made some bad decisions, but he hasn't looked out out place.
Good on the boards, bit of a physical edge.

One great stretch in the offensive zone, a couple of take aways, and really physical. Rough around the edges but decent debut.

Looks like he has the makings of an ideal 3rd line center. Looked bigger and meaner than I thought he'd be. Happy I got the chance to see him.

Threw some hits, battled on the boards, and showed some skill. Encouraging performance.

He was fine, but it looks like he will need at least one more year in the AHL before he is ready to be a full time NHLer.

Any player who has what it takes to play in the AHL should be able to do a reasonable job of faking it as an NHL player for their very first game in the big league.
The real test is how well he's doing 5 or 10 games later, when the biggest adrenaline kick of his life has worn off.

If we didn't have space up here for him I'd agree. He's a perfect fit for a 3rd/4th line on a rebuilding team. Not sure if we can count on that yet, but nothing tonight looked to me like he NEEDS another AHL year

Calgary Flames @NHLFlames 12s Bob Hartley has just confirmed Reinhart will play in Colorado on Monday. He may switch to centre in the game vs. the #Avs.

This game cemented my hope for this kid.
Did. Not. Quit.
Love it. Good on you, Max, and keep it up.

Sounds like I won't get to see him down here later in the month when the Heat visits. Mixed emotions.

I was at the game, and focused primarily on him when he was on.
I like his game down low. I think he will be hard guy to play against.
Pretty good away from the puck defensively, but I caught him 'watching' the play a couple times on breakouts. He also had some issues staying on his feet late in the game.

Ya seemed like the pace of the game caught up to him by the end, but full marks for his effort tonight, loved how he back checked and would never give up on the puck.

My only problem with the kid is that he kind of looks like Ryan Smyth right down to the hair.

That's really funny, because when they did the interview with his dad they flashed over to Max on the bench and I thought "Why is Smyth in a Flames jersey?!"
It did make me realize that as much as I've followed the kid's career since he was drafted by the Flames I didn't recognize him at all when they flashed to him on the bench. I would probably be able to pick out any Flames roster player, or Gaudreau, Baertschi, Horak, Bouma, Sieloff, or any number of Flames' prospects if they somehow showed up in my hometown (Fresno, CA). Kind of a shock to the system.
