I like the first but the other 2 prospects have a longer shot of making the NHL than the Iggy prospects.
How does old man Reggie get 2 2nd round picks and the flames basically only get 1st for JBO?

This is awesome. Three firsts is really important. REALLY important.
Bouw is a loser, always has been. Onwards and upwards!

Wow, and the pick is even protected in case the Blues suck this year.
Feaster has got to go.

And the first rounder isn't likely to be high, although it can be packaged.
Jay was probably the most attractive asset the Flames had, and he went for less than Iggy.
Not impressed at this "re-tool".

No doubt. Out of all deals to make a obvious win for the Flames side, this should've been it. Feaster blew it. (No surprise)

Feaster should be fired.
Iggy and Bouw have netted us 2 1'sts and 4 scrub prospects.
Like wtf man.

SportsnetSpec Calgary is NOT retaining any salary in the Bouwmeester deal. So, St. Louis may now have too dump some payroll. Blues just took on $6.6M.

man feaster needs to be fired. the entire point of trading for a bubble team's first rounder was the hope that they drop so the value of the returned asset increases. this conditional first rounder negates that completely.
i am just so angry about every frigin move made by our hockey people.
my sig just makes more and more sense every day.

The pick isn't protected, we get one this year or next. A full season of Jay Bouw will only make the Blues worse.

Chill the F out. The prospects are throw ins, the first rounders are where this is gonna shine.
|
That is if a team (or two) in the top 10-15 are actually willing to trade down for any of the assets the Flames have.
Right now, Calgary is likely to pick within the top 7 and then not again till probably 20.
Picks are just tickets in a big lottery, and I believe they are so totally overvalued by fans to the point of annoyance.

STL 1st rder is lottery protected for this yr. That is, IF STL misses 2013 playoffs, 1st rder defers to 2014, STL throws in 4th rder this yr

Jbo curse insurance! lol

They have JBO for another year.... no way they make the playoffs in 2013/14...
Would be ideal if they missed this year AND then the Flames get a top 5 pick next year.

The Blues aren't missing the playoffs, no chance. Merely a formality.
Flames have 3 first rounders this year, that is HUGE.
