Jumping into the bottled water debate a little late, but people know that they don't have to put a Nalgene bottle in the fridge the night before right? The other option that they have is to add ice, which tends to cool down the beverage making it all so delicious. I think that the biggest thing is related to the status of having bottled water as having a Nalgene/refillable water bottle costs less and is something that poor people do (for lack of a better term).

People do worse things everyday don't get me wrong and I mainly drink out of a refillable water bottle because it is cheaper not because of the environmental impact of it. A last shocker on the subject, if the water gets warm and you don't want to drink it, the other option is to (gasp) dump it out and refill it with cold water.

The food at Good Earth Cafes is way overpriced for the less than average sandwiches and salads you get there. They don't even make the sandwiches fresh. They are premade and sitting in plastic wrap.

There's nothing worse than people thinking I'm poor, so to make sure everyone knows I'm not, I drink water out of plastic bottles.

You're quite the detective, Special Agent86.

I thought it was poor people who were more likely to drink bottled water. It's kind of a reflection of how they waste their money and stay poor.

Seriously, learn how to use a faucet. They even make them with one handle and colours so its less complicated.

You're my hero. Why don't you get back to ticketing distracted drivers and let me keep showing off my fancy disposable water bottle.

I drink bottled water pretty much exclusively. That's because I live in a country where there isn't so much confidence to be had in the safety of consuming tap water.

Whenever I'm back in Canada I find there is such great pleasure in being able to simply turn on a tap and have clean, drinkable water come streaming out. It's like magic.
