Cavalry could finish 3rd, 4th, or 5th. But finishing 5th would require Cavalry losing, and then York beating Forge and also Halifax beating Ottawa. I can't see the two title contenders both losing on the last day of a not-yet-settled season. Even if all of that did happen, the tiebreaker criteria are also quite close:
Quote:
If one or more Clubs finish the 2025 CPL Regular Season with the same number of points, tiebreakers will be exercised in the following order:
Total number of wins
Head-to-Head
Goal Differential
Goals For
Away goals differential
Away goals for
Home goals differential
Home goals for
Fewest Disciplinary Points
Most Under-21 Domestic Player Minutes
Coin toss (tie between two (2) Clubs) or drawing of lots (tie between three (3) or more Clubs)

Or... the easiest way to 3rd... just win on Saturday.
- Finish 5th means an away match on Wednesday, October 22nd.
- Finish 4th and that becomes a home match under the floodlights at Spruce Meadows that same night.
- Finish 3rd and it would be a home match on either October 25 or 26. If I was a gamblin' man, I'd put a fat stack of chips on the afternoon of Sunday, October 26th. Don't ask me how I know this.
Also, the final will be on November 8 or 9, but... it'll be the Sunday the 9th.
