On a recent trip to Rome I managed to meet and start "partying" one night with some good looking girls from Halifax. They were big hockey fans (one of their brothers used to play in the Q) and we started talking about players from Nova Scotia, and they ended up knowing quite a few of them through their brother, etc. They had mostly good things to say about everyone, except Brad Marchand. They let me in a number of "local legends" regarding Marchand, I won't get into the gritty details as I can't confirm them, but needless to say if true the man has zero class/respect for himself and possibly severe drinking issues as well.
The start of your post is intriguing. I am sick of the Iggy speculation and would like to talk about something else. How about you tells us more about the "partying" with hot girls in Rome. I am married and have to live vicariously through others.

If we're getting TT as well as part of a package, then fine.
However, Ray Shero has set the trade market panic level to 'bat sh*t crazy', so I want Calgary to fully bend someone over and buttsecks them for all they are worth. McNeil isn't the sticky, messy finish we're looking for.
This post has me wanting a shower. Gross

Some media livid..Jarome Iginla not talking after skate. Calgary media not all surprised. Outsiders are choked. Interesting development.

I haven't been able to focus, any time of day. Definitely a record for amount of time spent on Calpuck in a 24 hour span.. and to break my previous record that is a sad, sad mismanagement of time.
Jarmoe what are you doing to us!!!

Jarome Iginla, with full support of Flames, decides not to talk after morning skate. Flames P.R. "He is focusing on tonight's game."

We're guessing teammates who were forced to address pending Iginla trade don't require the same level of pregame focus.

They need to do something soon, production in the workforce has subsided greatly since trade speculation began!
No kidding. I can't get anything done.
I checked out some of the prospects people have been talking about and I'm not seeing it. Spooner, Khoklachev, Teravainen, these are all tiny skilled forwards. Is that really what we need?

Makes sense from a flames management , ownership way of thinking. They want to do a re-tool and he would be the best player available to insert into the line up right now. Also probably the most well known name for casual fans out of all the prospects that might come back in trade. If they get a player like Spooner back in a deal, most casual fans will need to "google" that player to find out who he is. Sorry flames fans, Saad, Seguin and Hamilton are not coming back in any deal.
Remember that drubbing by the Capitals, 7-2 I think, where the team didn't send anyone out for 5 or 10 minutes and then sent out Stefan Mayer of all people to talk to the media?
Hahahahaha, he'd be one of those guys that likely doesn't require the same level of focus.
Sounds like the Flames are barganing against themselves not the other way around. Ultimately teams are trading for the Jarome Iginla of 2012-13 not the Jarome Iginla of 2009-2010. The book on him is well known at this point, he's a trigger man and doesn't drive the play.
I really don't understand Flames Fans. I heard one Flames fan blame King because he was the one constant that has been with the Flames with all the loses. Ummm... sorry there is another constant that goes back to the mid 90's. Iggy... Look at Columbus now that they've unloaded their "franchise player", they haven't looked back.

I don't understand why there isn't more talk about moving cammaleri, bouwmeester, kipper, stepniak, Giordano etc. Hopefully more than just Iggy is traded.
