After the /Westerns subreddit brought up The Sisters Brothers (which I saw in theatres in 2018) I decided to forgo its availability on Plex with its endless ads and rent it for a re-watch.
This is a film that probably slipped under the radars of most moviegoers as I've never really seen it discussed. Starring John C Reilly, Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Riz Ahmed, and based off the book by Canadian author Patrick deWitt. Small cameos by Carol Kane and Rutger Hauer (in his last accredited role).
I loved it and still do. If you get the chance you may want to add this to a watchlist.
