Unrelated, I just spent an hour looking at aircraft sales websites... and not at "realstic" stuff (no real aircraft is realistic for me anyway) but things like Hueys, Kiowas, C-130s, Mig 21s... its amazing the air force you could assemble with $20M.

I'm not sure I'd like to be dogfighting while trying to see through that canopy. The view looks a little distorted.

I originally had a snide comment about that, then took it back because I figured maybe it's covered in some kind of protective plastic?

But it does make it look pretty fake to be sure. I was reading other articles that were saying evidence that it's flown is limited to small scale prop and jet powered R/C models - so I have no doubt this is a mock-up. It's easy to make almost any R/C model fly regardless of aerodynamics, simply because you have such a surplus of thrust, and the air molecules are so much larger relative to the wing area involved.

I believe sometime this month, I think they pushed back the announcement from January.

Whats not normal is that it looks like a toy. Its also about the size of a half ton truck.

Considering most modern fighter jets are quite large. The F22 is massive. Off the top of my head the smallest of the past generation was the F5. This looks even smaller than that.

This thing has to be a propaganda stunt.

Whats with the intake plug? You could probably see through the whole thing to the other wall if they didn't have that in there.

Not to mention if it truly is intended to be a stealth fighter, it would have to carry armaments internally. If that thing carried anything internally it wouldn't have room for much else.
