There is a Yak 55M near the bottom of the page and a 52 (tricycle gear) mid-page.

He has never owned one but has seat time in both the 55 and 52. He flew (owned) an Extra 300 prior to the 26.

He had the Extra 300L back when I was at Calgary Flight (early 2000's), remember he took one of the students up for a ride in it around the mountains. The video was insane.

Seeing as how most aviation guys are probably following this thread, I figured I'd ask this here.
Anyone know where to get some aviation decor? Stuff such as nonflightworthy props or nice replicas? Want to put a nice prop on my wall and maybe some other stuff. There's a few companies out there on the web, but at $2000 for some of the items, it's way out of my league.

Maybe Crown Surplus, you could even knock on the door of some of the repair shops at YYC or Springbank and see if they have any stuff they could offer you.

I got my prop at a farm auction. Have seen a couple over the years. It's a nice wood prop from a Cessna Crane. Watch your local auction companies. They pop up in antique stores from time to time but you'll pay a premium there.
Anything you get from a maintenance facility will have to be trashed, and 'destroyed' in such a way it can't be reinstalled.

I hate you.
The thought of buying a prop as decor has never occurred to me before. Now I must have one.

There's my prop decor right there! Wonder if a wing would fit on a wall

Why not just drop the big-bucks and visit restoration hardware?

That and their blackhawk line would certainly appeal to an av-geek.

Starting tomorrow AC Express will begin operating the Dash 8-Q400's from YYC to Saskatoon, Regina, and Fort Mac. Haven't seen any in YYC yet, but keep your eyes peeled for more of these sweet turboprops in the skies above YYC.

HBO is teaming up with Spielberg, Hanks and Company to pretty much make "Band of Brothers" in a B-17 (8th Air Force):

Probably one of the best 767 shots I've ever seen, perfect combination of background, lighting, and those new winglets:
