I still wouldn’t do that for a rental. Not even for Stone.

isn't it time for Tre to call up Dorian, call him a pancake eating and give him a take it or leave it deal without Valimaki, or Kylington?

Dobson (def not on the table) Wallstrom, Toews whose probably in the Kylington or Rasmus tier of young Dmen. If Dobson and Wallstrom aren’t on the table their prospect pool is similar to the flames

Maybe if Treliving offers to pay for the pop in the Sens dressing room, Melnyk will bite

You can have May, Corbyn and whatever slime balls are lined up to replace them.

Not familiar with their prospect depth, but they are missing their 3rd and 4th round picks this year. They have all their picks next year and the year after.
Quite a few expiring contracts coming up at the end of this year, most notably;
Eberle, Nelson, Lee, Filppula, Sbisa, and Lehner.

Nothings happening, nothings happening, something about a map, nothings happening.
Trade Deadline Day is over. A lot of people in the audience look pissed.

I have a feeling the Flames are gonna grab Stone. Way too many B and C options have been traded. Not a whole lot left.
Or the Flames will pick up Simmonds for a 3rd.

Curious why of our three young Dmen, people toss around the name Kylington in trade proposals like he's a throw in.
He's already an NHLer and has borderline elite skating. He's not a throw in, nor is he degrees less good than Andersson and Valimaki. I think all three are as close to untouchable as it gets, unless the return is a star player (Stone) extended. I'd rather add an extra pick to the deal than lose of those three kids.

Time for Treliving to perform a Jedi mind trick... "This isn't the prospect you're looking for"

I fully expect wherever Stone ends up will be a hilarious return compared to what was rumoured even yesterday.
Something along the lines of Lil Z, Foo, 1st, and conditional 1st on resigning or equivalent from another team

How late can deals get announced? A few hours after the deadline?

The board has always been hyper critical of Kylington, going back to his first camp.
Flames media seems to carry this opinion as well though. Often propping Andersson and Kylington up by knocking Kylington down.
We've got 3 incredible young defencemen. It's awesome.

Dorion still has an option to sign Stone. He doesn't have to trade him.

Certainly an option but when he declines 10.5M a season, how much higher can you go?
