Brossoit and the Oil Kings start their run to the Memorial Cup tonight on Sportsnet.
I wish Loubardias was still doing this thing.

Maybe now I can watch the Mem cup because I won't have to listen to him.
Who is doing the PBP anyways?
Who are the players to watch this year? I can think of Coyle, Phillips, Gormley, Kabanov, Maatta, Domi, Huberdeau.
Any Canucks prospects?

Canucks don't draft in the CHL . (I'm only half joking). From an outsiders perspective, it feels like the Canucks only draft in the States and overseas with a few exceptions of CHL players.
Also some players to watch are Houser of the London Knights, he won the OHL's most outstanding player as a goalie. Seth Griffith, also of the Knights, has the most points for them this post-season with 23. Don't forget Beaulieu of the Sea Dogs. The guy was a total bum in the World Juniors, but we'll see how he does in his second year in the Memorial Cup. Shawinigan also has Anton Zlobin who scored a team-high 40 goals for them this year. Also for the Cataractes, Karill Kabanov is a high-offensive player as well (who I am still glad the Flames skipped over to get Reinhart haha).
I'm really looking forward to this tournament. I think the Sea Dogs will win the Cup with a close win over the Oil Kings. The Sea Dogs are just too explosive offensively. However, Brossoit will shine, so much so that he will basically become a lock for the Canadian World Junior's starting goalie. Just my prediction.

Laurant Brossiot is the player to watch
to answer your second question. No, not a single Canuck prospect is playing for the Memorial Cup.

I found this oldie but a goodie and I couldn't resist - sorry, Red John. Last two seasons: WJHL final appearance and would likely have won it if not for losing best player Griffin Reinhart for the series, following up by a Memorial Cup title.

Saw them play in Kamloops near the end of the season, they looked dominant controlling the game completely and up 2-0 after two, but once the Blazers found a bit of success against them the Oil Kings went away and quickly...Brossoit wasn`t all that sharp in the 3rd and the Blazers won 3-2 in the final minute. Obviously only one game but still think the Oil Kings aren`t quite the shoo-in to win the WHL that their stats might make them look.
Curtis Lazar is going to be quite the hockey player though. One to keep an eye on.

Just your routine Oilers troll seeking validation from Flames fans. Nothing to see here.
