I did not think that was the Hughes brother that would be the difference in the game.

Well said. The better team lost. It sucks, but it does happen.
Open nets, breakaways, 5 on 3's...........nobody to blame but themselves. The U.S. was very clearly not the better team at all, yet here we are.

Binnington played well..
But 4 years now for Canada to find a proper goalie.

Mackinnon looked off all game. Gripping his stick too tight.

Yeah, Binnington made one fantastic save in OT. Meanwhile McDavid is skating the puck into Hellebuyck’s pads.

This is going to be McDavid's legacy if he doesn't turn things around in the 2nd half of his career. 2 cup finals losses in a row and chokes in the Olympic gold medal game.

Are we sure Crosby is done for olympics? He’s going to play at least two or three years. Could see him coming back again just to have one more chance.

I think it’s equally on Makar on that failed pinch at the line as it is on McDavid.

He’d looked off all tourney. He’s gotta be hurt or sick or something.

It's true that McDavid's 1 on 3 rushes were not good decisions, but in a game where Canada missed chance after chance - and McDavid is their best weapon in a 3 on 3 situation - I can kind of understand it. It may even have been the strategy to set him loose and end it early in OT.
MacKinnon was a ball of nerves all game too. Just a lot of pressure on these guys.

McDavid causing his team to choke when it matters.
Where have I seen that before.
Worst team Canada Captain.

I'll be happy with a 10 game losing streak for Vegas.

USA won fair and square as Canada didn't cash in on their ten bell chances in the third.
