Lol at focusing on Whitefoot..."The Last Surviving Member of the Busby Babes" and he's absolutely sleeping.

That Williams tackle on Garnacho was a thing of beauty.
Nuno! You gotta grow that beard man!

Not just that he signed him.
But that he continues to play him when it is clear he is not remotely close to the level required to be a PL footballer is justifiable reason by itself for sacking ETH.
20 games in. Zero goals. Zero assists.
You'll never convince me some kid out of the academy wouldn't do worse.
Strange thing is (hopefully) someone will pay 20-30m for him based on what? I don't even think he's Championship level.

At least for Arsenal fans imploding now is better than later in the season, kill that hope as early as possible I guess?

From top at Christmas Day, to one point from fifth by New Year’s Eve has to be some kind of record.
Holy ####, how the #### did this team prioritise signing a goalie over a striker?

It isn’t imploding, it’s been the story of the season. They’ve been squeaking out the wins for some time. There was no way it could last. Other than ten minute spurts here and there during some matches, Arsenal have been lacking incisive play all season long. They have no outlet up front at all.
Good thing we signed another goalie though.

At least we have 3 weeks off now. I don't want to start my 2024 watching losses and getting angry before 8am.

Spurs had an interesting game today. It sure didn’t feel like a 3-1 win and we could’ve easily lost it. Could’ve scored 2/3 more as well, but it was just strange. Nice to get Bentancur back a month before he was expected and finish the year on a high note. Hopefully we get a couple others back in short order or complete a signing or two to make January a success.
And, despite the sure protestations from another resident Spurs supporter, some of the young guys have been immense. Sarr was solid, as usual. Vocation made some big saves, again. But perhaps the best was Destiny Udogie who was absolutely immense. He’s kind of flown under the radar, but his impact is huge both offensively and defensively. Gives me hope that we land this Dragusin from Serie A, because Paratici has basically nailed all his signings from that league.

Spurs were awful today, lucky it was Bournemouth they were facing who couldn’t score to save their lives no matter how much the Spurs defense and midfield tried to make it easy on them.

Hey...some of those kids are pretty good...just prone to occasional mistakes.
Since we're not in the Champions' League now is as good a time as any to blood some kids in the cups. See what you've got.

Spurs fans are ruthless in that though. If Ange plays the kids against Burnley and loses, he’ll be slatted. But if he doesn’t play the kids then they’ll say he won’t give youth a chance and he’s a dinosaur. It’s a no-win in that sense. I think we’ll start a stronger 11 and then look to get the kids some time to close it out.

Well maybe Spurs fans need to chill the fata out and Levy and Ange just need to take their lumps.
Lest we forget...at one time Chelsea had both Kevin de Bruyne and Mo Salah and got rid of them both.
Can you imagine KdB firing cross-field passes to Salah?
Same thing. If you dont try them, you'll never know. See: Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Its a podcast episode with John Oliver, I thought it was great, I got some good chuckles, I NSFW'd it because there is some swearing (they're British) but its very Liverpool centric, they talk a bit about the Everton sanction, some City and Spurs stuff but overall its just funny as hell.

John Oliver is generally hilarious, but being a Liverpool supporter you just know he has this character flaw and then you question all of his stances.

Pfft...its one of his best qualities. If anything I'd question him because he's from Birmingham.

udogie has been incredible
Paratici should be pardoned in italy for whatever crimes he committed, I love that hes being kept on as a consultant and basically still doing the job
We need romero and mickey back so badly, only one league game between now and February, so them and maddison back for Jan 31 Brighton
