Small business exemption is $500,000 taxable income (profit), but it looks like the reduction to 0 is going to have a cut off of $100,000 based on that screenshot.

Yes, you are correct. (Potato/Potato)
Net Income is more precise language

Meanwhile Mainstreet’s tracker continues to show some narrowing, with the margin down to UCP+3.4. Will be interesting to see if this holds as the older data rolls off.
https://www.mainstreetresearch.ca/do...h-2023-public/
The formatting of the data and crosstabs continues to be absolutely useless. Can’t glean anything from it. But even looking at the top lines, this should finally dispense with any notion that Mainstreet’s numbers are somehow in line with Janet Brown’s UCP +11.

Just wondering. It is really doom and gloom and angry rhetoric in here, and seem to be very few trying to do anything to help.
Most of you literally live in the battleground of this election.
Go DO something about it.

He's a journalist in the same way I am a lawyer. You don't just get to call yourself a journalist, particularly when the only stuff you do is for your own blog where you beg for money. And it's all bull####.

He was also the Chief Economist at ATB at one point, so he has the credibility for that type of role.

I just looked at my riding's boundaries, and it looks like one of those gerrymandered districts in the US. I highly doubt it is, and I don't even know who sets the boundaries, I just thought it was interesting how specific portions of specific neighbourhoods are scooped in or out. Like why the jog to exclude a portion of 33rd Ave while a similar sized block dips down into Lakeview?
I assume it's based on an algorithm trying to find a certain number of people per riding, it's just curious.

If you want a good laugh, check out The Breakdown twitter page. There are a bunch of short videos from the Livingstone Macleod forum last night.
The UCP candidate honestly can't put a coherent sentence together and 'believes' in anything that she thinks will get her elected. There can't be too many neurons firing inside that helmet.
