Yup. Seemed like less of a biased attack piece cause he had a reasonable answer without getting (too) flustered and acting (too) defensively.
To paraphrase: 'Your campaign has been failing miserably lately and drifting off course. Why have you been sliding in the polls so badly approaching election day?'

He did fairly well. Could have been a bit better, but compared with yesterday's fiasco this looked pretty good.

Sorry if this makes no sense. I tried to type this on on one listen.

The statments are from Mike, the bullet points are from Ric.

Headlights in rear view. What's wrong?
- They had him behind before. He's been going ahead

About an insurmountable lead a while ago. What's going on?
- He's been pretty steady. Being ahead in the polls, therefore has become the target.

[Ric is] the experience. In 9 years, he's been on council, but Tax goes up 40%. Has been branded as part of a "raiding party"
- He didn't get "Dr No" for a reason. Implies that he slowed down the taxing
- Understands the taxes were inappropriate

His arguments to reduce taxes didn't help.
- Claims they're incorrect and have selective memory
- He and a few others managed to it slow down.
- He fought to reduce the taxes and says that, if mayor, he'll avoid unneeded tax increases

Eau Claire. Claims that McIver passed the buck
- Says that he, if mayor, insists that all information was needed. Says council, as a group, needs the information.

Do you think this will hold true for Calgary on Monday?

From CNN - candidates with more facebook fans win big...

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com...ig-on-tuesday/

In Calgary - Nenshi currently with: 6962, Higgins: 1510, McIver: 3092

I think there is a good possibility. A good comparison (although probably not very accurate) is the Obama's (or McCain's lack of) social media campaign being a major reason why they were elected.

But like many have mentioned, its one thing to click "Like" its another to get off your butt and actually vote.

Connelly talked about crowd sourcing, but Nenshi has actually used it in his campaign.

Check out this:

Connelly had a guy filming him shaking hands of people streaming in over the Stampede LRT station yesterday. Only problem was with about 8 of us in our Nenshi gear all around they couldn't get a shot without us in it!

^^^ Oh snap Ramsay!

Apparently Rick Bell is looking for a nickname for Nenshi, he is taking suggestions from Twitter. Any ideas?
