I don't know, at this point does it even matter in this game. I think the refs, just like the Flames, just want this game to be over.

Imagine that, a good team winning hockey games at home.

And instead of showing a 2004 clip, how about a clip of when they last won in Anaheim, in 2006?

Voted for Kodos

Monahans barely played in the third either, with the injuries, misconduct, and players resting, the Flames have essentially played the third period with two forward lines.

Man Backlund is softer than a pillow. Wants no part of getting touched.

Agreed, it looked worse at first glance to me. Not a huge deal.

Think Wotherspoon has shown enough to get more minutes in game 2. I know the game has been out of hand for awhile and that's why he's been out there more tonight. But I think he's played pretty well considering the score.

Not true. He's been involved plenty all playoffs. You want sacrifice in the dying minutes of a blowout? Save it for next game.

Romanuk just jumping to the conclusion that we're gonna lose this game. Can't stand that Duck homer.

Flames haven't lost back to back games in playoffs.
There is 2 days off before next game, time to regroup and kills the Ducks momentum.
Anaheim scores 6 angering the hockey gods for next game.
Hello optimism for game 2!

I've been ok with the refs and the call. Just horrified by the outcome and the news

Mike Johnson doing a great job of making things sound bleak for the Flames.

Not a hockey town. It never is when a rink announcer has to point out every time the home team has a powerplay.

I almost want to see Ortio start next game. Ramo was bad. Hiller was hung out to dry and the Ducks seem to know too well his weaknesses.

I think at this point Backlund is what he is, would be nice if he drove the play a bit more, but for this team he plays a pretty important role. He's can really be relied upon.

Well hopefully the Ducks well has dried up. Regroup and come out firing next game.

We won't get details on injuries until after the flames are out, but Ferland worries me. From the knee to the concussion in the fall to now this, the kid can't seem to catch a break.

Absolutely not a hockey town.
It's a 1%er party at the beach surf town.
