Sorry for my inactivity. Been away this weekend again and am traveling to Med Hat today as well. I've read the whole thread and have some good ideas of what's going on here. I will be available tonight to post all thoughts and during the week will have much more time to contribute as traveling will be done.

I'm going to throw a vote out on another low poster... just in hopes of getting more input. I wanted to vote for squiggs just for coming in and reading and not posting, but if he's already out surfing and golfing for the day, it would have been a wasted draw out.

A few thoughts:

• We pretty much have to assume ECF is telling the truth. Very likely he'll be killed by the mafia tonight and will have to chance to save someone and kill another. If he is lying, we'll be able to find out quite quickly.
• Is there any chance the mafia leaves him alive tonight? Early in the game, the doctor role isn't super important because the odds of the save helping are rather low. Leaving ECF alive tonight would cast a lot of suspicion and potentially lead to another townie lynch. I personally don't see it happening, but is there a chance?
• When selecting a lynch target, I believe some consideration should be put forth to what can provide us with information. For example, lynching hmmhmmcamo right now wouldn't be as informative as GP_Matt, for example, regardless of likelihood of mafia.
• Informative lynches would (potentially) be anyone in a cult, anyone with previous votes on them to go back and look at (squiggs and GP Matt, for example).
• That said, we obviously want to balance hunting scum now and looking for information that can help us hunt scum later. I'll have to continue to re-read to see who I think could be both.

GP_Matt already said he believes both mafia and town will be part of these groups. The extra night kill makes total sense after what happened on Day 1 with both Mario and Donkey Kong buying it. My theory on what happened is GP_Matt accepted his membership into the Eternals, in return he got an extra night kill for the mafia but the price he had to pay was an automatic vote against him come day 2. With that extra night kill GP_Matt and his scum buddies took out two high profile characters in Mario and Donkey Kong figuring they would have high town powers.

GirlySports - Does anyone have the timelines for when people were recruited into the guardians and eternals? I need to look into it a bit more but it seems like there was something fishy about when she came back and claimed she rejected entry into the new groups. Seems like a good way for a mafia to gain trust with the town by claiming to be the first to refuse.

Rathji - Not because he just voted for me, but there was something he said early on that got me thinking. I've noticed he hasn't been contributing a whole lot, so it's funny that he's throwing out a vote for me for the same reason.

GP Matt, Starseed, ECV - I still don't know what to make of these folks. I'm worried that our paranoia will get the best of us and we'll take them out, only to learn they would have helped us later on. But I'd also feel pretty dumb if we were to let GP Matt deke through all the suspicions the last few days only to find out we were right and he is scum.

Not only that, but then he came back with his "suspects", but he really doesn't give strong reasoning on them and it comes off as just trying to deflect the spotlight off him.

Also if he cant contribute with posts because he has RL issues how can he be so

We've been trying to work through with the information we have, and generally speaking we have been doing it without being called out. It's kind of suspicious to not say anything, then pop in when your name comes up an give "suspects".
