So do we believe that Matt didn't receive and use a night kill? Or do we think ECF is lying? I'm leaning more towards Matt lying

Only way to prove ECF isnt the doctor is if someone else comes forward and claims to be doctor. If that's the case, don't reveal yourself. It would just expose you to the mafia

If he is the doctor we need to all make a desicion on who he should use his night kill on tonight, because if he's the doctor the mafias going to kill him tonight. Also who should he protect?

Alright, well it seems I am not long for this game so if I am going to die, let my death not be in vain. So here we go:

By revealing this, I want to encourage the light to not waste a lynch on me and make the mafia kill me at night. Let me try and save someone tonight and let me use the kill before it goes to waste.

If you guys don't believe me and use the hammer, here are my final thoughts before you drop the hammer:
-everything I have said about the group of eternals has been true. The group is neutral - not good or evil. I dont think the group is affecting the end game - the main battle is light vs. dark, stop focusuing on the groups, focus on beating scum! The group has a leader, I dont know if that is a person in the game or outside of the game. I believe the leader does not know the affiliation of people in the game so I believe the group will be made up of scum and town. The group that starseed is in is different than the group that GP and I are in. I dont know what that means. I had no contact with Matt, and I dont know if the gift he recieved was the same that I did.

And my final thought - the three people on my suspicuous list are GP_Matt, Girlysports and GGG. Not much to go on, but I just think the three of them are shady.

Not sure I want the answer to this, because depending on the answer (and if you are who you say you are) who would you kill? But if you answer and it's a mafia player, the mafia people will want to kill you. But if it's a townsperson, they will just be quiet and let you off one of us.

I may be getting ahead of myself here, but for some of the roles that may be out there, who would be the best to use them on?
If there is someone with another doctor-type/protection role, maybe they could try to save ECF during the night? If there is a cop, I wonder if trying to figure out who killed Devo and Bizaro would help us out in any way and who would they investigate?

Sorry if I tend to ramble. I just put all my thoughts out there and let the smarter people think them out. I'm just a big dumb turtle. Maybe that's why I like dumb blondes

It wouldn't be a bad move, because if he is mafia, the real doctor won't come forward and say hes lying because then the mafia has an easy kill on one of the towns most important roles

I'd say if ECF doesn't get killed at night there's a good chance he's lying. But at the same time he could be the doctor and the mafia leaves him alive, making the town suspicious and we kill him tomorrow for the mafia

I received a one-shot ability. Not a night kill. Both could be telling the truth.

The decision of the group can be influenced by the mafia. She can at least know that her personal decision is based on a townie's decision.

Now here is the mind-frack that I have been considering since reading the post: Rathji mentioned that someone can redirect night actions.

I was reading about a Miller role that passively redirects anything that happens at night. The miller may or may not know he has it.

And ECF is a girl?

? Can cops see the future? What else would they investigate? Can they investigate who people are or who killed people? Aren't those 2 powers they could have? I'm still learning what all these roles are.

No a cop investigates 1 person at night. I think they are given that persons affiliation and any night actions they perform. I don't remember totally what they learn, but it's on that wiki that Mazrim posted on page 1.

I was reading through them (there's so many!) Forensic investigator is what I was reading. The other one that might fit what Rathji was talking about was a bus driver.

The ECF reveal is big. I was pretty sure that I was going to be voting ECF when I got back online this morning, but obviously that doesn't make sense now, even if he lying.

Knowing that these members get some type of one shot ability is an interesting twist. I know that off all the people in the game, a one shot kill would most interest the mafia side, since it would allow them to weed out town members even faster. If course, we have been told that Matt didn't get a kill, but another one time ability, so it could be random, or at least variable.

Here are my updated Guardian / Eternals thoughts. I am writing this on the basis that ECF is telling the truth, which is what I believe.

The benefits of joining are a one-time shot power, hence the temptation to join. The one-time powers also appear to be different from one another, at least between the two factions. These powers are pretty good (night kill is huge in my eyes) so would it make sense that mafia are allowed to join these groups as well? That seems like it would be too unbalanced with me. The mafia already know who town people are, and then they get an extra night kill by joining this group? Seems too powerful. Then again, we don't know where the invites are coming from either. It's possible its coming from a town person to people they think are also town to avoid the power from going to mafia.

So confused now.
