That is a major point, but what is missed is the propaganda that makes much of the middle east believe this nonsense is absolutely the core part of the problem. They don't believe Jewish people have any historical significance to the area (education system), they believe Israel started all the wars (propaganda) and their mosques often reinforce the hatred. There won't be peace until these are all resolved.

Israel absolutely is aware of this and the UN mocked them repeatedly when talking about this. From text books to Al Jazeera, the problems have been obvious for years.

That is more propaganda. Hamas ran and won an election then murdered opposition. If Israel did not support Hamas, they would be 'starving' Palestinians. When they help them, they are supporting genocidal terrorists.

How is it nonsense? You said yourself that the Jew and the Arab lived peacefully together since antiquity but only started warring after 1948. What changed? The State of Israel.

Hamas returns 3 Israeli hostages in return for 369 prisoners, some of whom were serving long prison terms for involvement in suicide bombings and other attacks that killed dozens of Israelis during the second intifada in 2000.
