Was there for Virgin Fest in 2008. I thought it was a pretty good venue, except that for some reason they didn't have porta potties in the beer gardens (and the beer gardens had about an hour lineup during peak times).

Played the round at Boulder Creek. I was pretty impressed with the course, and for what worked out to $30 each, it was a steal. The back nine needs work, but from what I understand, it is newer than the front, which is understandable. Full GPS carts with electronic scoring, and and iPad style tablet interface on a 15"ish screen in the cart.

Pretty challenging track, kept me on my toes, and half the holes where I could of used it, I left the driver in the bag, and teed off with a 5 iron instead. You go in the rough there, you probably aren't gonna find it. Classic links style course, and VERY fast greens.

Shot an 84, which I was quite happy with considering I had 2 lost balls and a 10 on one of the par 5's.

I was going to ask if the mosquitos got any better. I played there in June and you couldn't even talk without taking in a swarm of bugs. It was terrible and I haven't been back since.

Yeah, I saw the catch, but I was planning on using them for dinner only. It would be tough for 2 people to to eat $50 worth of sushi at lunch.

In April we went to Orlando for $420 return taxes in on Continental. That price was lower than what we found anywhere else. Might be worth keeping them in mind when searching airlines.

They also had a great idea; when you found a seat sale you could lock in the price for 48 hours for $20. Gives you time to see a sale, lock in the price, and then ask for time off work.
