I know, I was kidding. Smith has been great. Glad he stepped it up.

Bye Bye to Brodie
Upgrade on Monahan
Upgrade on Jankowski.

I don’t think we have the cap space to do it though.

Exactly, he had time to set and make the save and the contact was minimal. What a frustrating ####ing series

Bennett has tried hard and made some hits (this is his game) Its not like he has done anything spectacular...just a low bar

Wilson, nieto, compher scoring goals. Plus their top line is unstoppable. Top line + depth scoring. Thought that was supposed to be our deal...

You would have to make multiple, major moves which is pretty much impossible in today's NHL. We just have way too many passengers that would need to be moved. Tell me one core player that you think will improve from this experience next year?

Flames are not a slow team. They have not skated like regular season but they are not slow.

The Avs have slowed them down...there is a difference.

Calgaryboy says hold his very fine Czech beer. He’s up at 4am to watch the games and awake 90 mins before because he can’t sleep.

How about this one NHL

Let the ref make the call and it’s good

If it goes upstairs who cares what the refs called , it’s your job to make the right call

he set up brodie, set up gaudreau deep from of his own zone for a breakway (something monahan has only done 3 on 3) and had more zone entries and hits than monahan has had the whole series

I don’t really think this team has been remotely the same group since the AllStar break. Especially the 1st line of course.

Prior to the break we dominated for long stretches in most games, but since then it seems we’ve largely relied on opportunistic goals and better goaltending. Our 4th line has been our best line for at least 1/3rd of the season. That’s completely unsustainable.

I would guess Treliving has a sense of what imploded, and we’ll see what happens. I know I’d be ridding myself of Monahan, Brodie, and Neal if I could.

Backlund is a better hockey player than Monahan is. He has earned some time on the top unit with Gaudreau in my opinion.

Well it was that line's job in this series and they've been dominated. But more so, he has looked slow and soft with zero offence.

Leaf fan on national TV arguing why the right call was made in the TO BOS game. Has about as much open mindedness as us in here when it comes to the Flames.

Living and learning from tough experiences = maturity and wisdom

Lot of critical roster players, hopefully, are going to get better from what is happening.

Umm this core has played enough playoff games to Atleast make it too the second round this year. Sorry but no excuses this year. They choked simple as that.
