It will interesting to see if this site has ever been under more load than tonight.

This is factoring in that it probably has a lot more users since 2004.

I disagree; there are going to be a lot of teams looking to offload "expensive" players in the offseason. If the Flames have the room, they can acquire players for peanuts

I'm happier he isn't going to Boston because Pitt was winning the cup this year anyway, with or without Iggy.

The return is pretty rough though.

Shocking last minute twist or not, Iginla's still gone. Still tough to have that even have it sinking in.

If it was even Maatta/Harrington/Pouliot and a 1st I'd be MUCH happier with it.

You're fooling yourself if you think this was a Feaster trade. He likely did the grunt work, but it was Iginla and King that pulled the trigger.

Doesn't mean Feaster had to bend over. How is that Morrow got better returns than Iggy.

Wow, I thought Iginla would get a better return then that. Agostino, what's the scoop on him? I know more about Hanowski.

My sources tell me Iggy has been on hold with Verizon for the last 20 minutes getting his number changed from a 617 area code to a 412 area code. Suspect he chose PIT because of the the 4-12 made it easier for him to remember.

Tough time for each of those guys to get traded...on the eve of the biggest games of their careers.

Interesting that Yale got into the NCAA Tournament by the skin of their teeth. If Michigan had won Sunday, Yale would have been out and their season over.

It's pretty obvious that Iggy wanted to go to pitts. Feaster can't take the better deal if Iggy doesn't agree to waive his no trade

Joe Morrow isn't a top pairing guy., won't be one.

No idea about the penguins cap situation but with Crosby, malkin, letang, Fleury, etc wouldn't seem like they have a ton of space.

As an old Habs fan who became a Flames fan since I arrived in Calgary in the mid 90s, I have to say that I am thoroughly relieved that Iginla did not go to the hated Bruins! I will enjoy watching our man win the cup with Crosby this year and complete his hall of fame career.

This piece would not have been enough for the Bruins to win the cup and it would have been more disappointment for Jerome with the Bruins. As to the return, I really liked D'Agostini at the worlds and it certainly is a better pickup then the rumored Boston deal.
