If Bo is well enough to play I like
Lukes/Varsho/Barger in the OF
And then
3B: Clement
SS: Gimenez
2B: Bo
1B: Vladdy
I like that as the lineup next year as well. I'd love to re-sign Bo for his bat, but if he's only willing to play SS I don't think you can commit to him for the long term because his range is already not good enough.
I believe he played 2B in the minors. I would imagine Bo would be fine at 2nd and I would much prefer him there than SS anyway

I meant at the majors. He didn’t play SS throughout his Jay career. Did he play third? I just know prior to SS he was playing another position as SS wasn’t his forte and it was clear he wanted the higher paycheque from mastering a more lucrative position.
The umpiring in both the Yankees And Mariners Series was really good IMO. Hopefully stays the same in the WS. I was actually surprised by how fair it was. I thought the Jays would get cheated.

I agree with the Yankees series but not the Mariners series. Atleast the first few games of the ALDS there were maybe 3 or 4 missed calls. Doug Eddings missed 24 calls in game 2 alone.
It could have been alot worse but I wouldn't call it realy good.

I was 12 the last time they were there. I still remember sitting in our basement with my cousins when Carter hit the winner.

Yep, I was 11. We were on vacation driving down the Oregon coast in an RV from BC...I actually had to listen to that particular HR on the radio in the RV.
Rodriguez always had the hint that this (playoffs) was going to be too big a spot. He survived his appearances vs the Yankees but too amped up against the Ms in his appearance and couldn’t fine the zone.
France will be a darkhorse but no way he does anything other than pinch hit in desperation.
He’s not going to go in and play 1st because Vladdy isn’t going to DH (that’s Bo) and France isn’t likely to be a starting DH.
But he has the pop and can get a cheap HR down the line at Dodger Stadium is a better chance with him than Loperfido. Maybe a bit surprised he didn’t come on for Santander last series.
