my guess is they view Holtby as a backup for Eriksen, as well as moving more towards the 6 role (like Modric did), Lamela can play behind the striker as well if needed, when he was at Roma he was supposed to be the heir to Totti

even with Defoe leaving, possibly not until March, I think Sherwood will just play Kane more

			Big games tomorrow
Be lying if I said that I'm not worried of the loss. (Especially with RVP out and rooney doubtful)

City visits Swansea, where the swans regularly take points from the big clubs.

Chelsea/Southampton - hoping for a tie, and I don't think it's too far fetched to foresee it.

			With injuries ruling out RVP, Nani, Jones I'd like to see;
 --------- Welbeck (Rooney if fit)
 -- Young Januzaj Valencia
 ------ Giggs Carrick
 - Evra Vidic Evans Smalling
 ----------- de Gea

Interesting to note vs last season, de Gea has played every game, with Lindegaard getting stale. Perhaps a sale of the Dane (while he has any value) to make room for Amos.

ya with no RVP and Rooney doubtful I hope Soldadebayor plays up front tomorrow, if Rooney was fit I would have wanted to sit one of them and play 1 up front
not too worried about United attacking and I think Moyes will play very conservative so just go for it

only chance I would make from sunday is Rose/Walker back in, and either Capoue or Holtby replacing Paulinho (who is out a month because Charlie Adam is a &$&*)

maybe Lamela for Lennon but Lennon absolutely terrorizes Evra so I think I keep it

I'd like to see the kid make the most of playing in the hole.
Balls. I forgot about Lennon on Evra.
Youngs defending (& dramatics) are another wildcard. Totts forwards don't strike fear, though with two it'll be concerning. It'll be nice to have Vidic there though.

Dembele vs first game back as a starter, Carrick.

Hopefully it's not a bore tomorrow.

If Rooney can't play, I'd love them to play Kagawa in the hole with Januzaj on the left and Welbeck up front. Lots of speed, skills and creativity

All pressure with no killer instinct.
Forget the transfer window, get Rooney signed.

not that excited, Spurs have been the best away side in the league this year and they beat a mid table side away, not a big win

Agreed, two bad mid table teams.
But if you can be happy with finishing midtable again after blowing 100M then more power to you. Congrats on your away record trophy.

This year being mediocre looks like it will win you the title.

sounds like you are upset

they didn't blow 100m, they had a negative net transfer spend last summer actually

and one of those players we spent the money on had a goal and an assist today, the other won MOM

for as bad as Spurs have been this year, only 2 points behind 'title challengers' Liverpool for 4th, I'll take it

Vertonghen/Kaboul/Paulinho/Sandro all back soon too, all would have started today as well
