The first one was a crap fest.

The second one was a super crap fest.

I'll probably still go see it... dammit.

Anyone want to guess what the Michael Bay drinking game is?

This one looks insanely awesome. Will I be lead astray again? Last one sucked!

Then again, I heard this one is suppose to be dark with little comedy. Soundwave was never really a comedic kinda decepticon. It's all business when it comes to destroying the world.

So it took 2 movies for the Autobots/Decepticons/American government to think "Oooh yeah....the moon! We totally forgot about that convenient plot point until now."

I sure hope they bring back robot heaven. What a treat that was.

Looks pretty cool.

I hope to god they don't put all the TERRIBLE comedy in it like they did the second one. I mildly enjoy the second, but the "comedy" is beyond terrible. Makes re-watching almost unbearable.

First one was good though. Don't really care what people think I liked the first and mildly enjoyed the second (that isn't too say I think it is a good movie).

"Robot Heaven" Has been a part of the Transformers mythos since 1985.

God forbid they throw the old fans a bone.

Also...

Optimus hits Megatron with a tree.... your arguments are invalid.

So was Jazz, but that doesn't mean they executed (for lack of a better term...) it in a decent way.

I'm overly bitter with the movies anyway, so pretty much anything I say regarding them will be irrational incoherent ramblings. Just a warning.

Jazz was executed perfectly fine. Getting ripped in half and having your spark consumed is a very excellent way to die.

I've spent the past three years dealing with Hack&Lube. I am used to overly negative for the sake of it.

It was just too soon for Jazz...they never gave him a good chance. I can not argue with you about this though, due to my extremely high level of intellect, it would only perpetuate false ideas that you are infact above me in an academic standard which clearly is not the case. I would list the films that I allow to grace my screen, but I'm afraid you'd never have heard of them and probably wouldn't understand them since they're so deep. You and your petty action movies don't deserve to be in any thread I'm in. Off with you!

In complete seriousness though, I will likely see it in theatres. I know that I'm not walking into an Oscar-worthy film. I just wanna see stuff blow up for 2 hours, and I'm sure this will deliver. I really hope that they tone down the lame John Turturro jokes though.

At least Leonard Nimoy is back in Dark of the Moon? The guy is married to Michael Bay's cousin.

Why isn't this called "Dark Side of the Moon"? Dark of the Moon is almost as bad a title as the Phantom Menace/Attack of the Clones/Revenge of the Sith.
