4 errors for the A's tonight.. too bad for Felix Hernandez to be handed a no-decision though after performing well into the sixth.

Good win for the M's tonight. Kotchman and Figgins were solid. Officiating was atrocious.

Glad to see the M's get the win. Wish I could have watched the game, but only get sportsnet west here in Alberta. Pacific would cost me extra.

Yeah the 4 errors were disappointing as the A's made some moves to improve their defence. The A's still have very little in terms of offence. I'm guessing another 70-75 win season.

Pujols is unreal. He stands out as the best right handed hitter than I can think of. Guys like Cobb, Ruth, Dimaggio, Williams, Pete Rose were all left handed.

It was a great pitchers duel tonight. Ian Snell was good but Dallas Braden was even better. He had 10 strikeouts through 7 innings.

The M's were still lucky to take that one to extra innings, but agree on both starters.

Yeah in typical A's fashion, they put runners on base, loaded the bases a couple of times late in the game and couldn't come up with a clutch hit but in the end Mark Ellis dropped one into right center field to bring in the winning run.

The A's with a nice come from behind win vs the Mariners tonight. They A's trailed, 2-0, 4-3 and 5-4 before Kurt Suzuki's walk off double in the bottom of the 9th. Both starters struggled out of the gate. A's reliever Tyson Ross looked good in his MLB debute. Check out his delivery if you get a chance.

Good old Milton Bradley for the Mariners. The Mariners will need better pitching than that to compensate for what is going to be a pretty anemic offence this year if they really think they're going to contend for the Division.

I don't think their starting pitching will be that bad, Rowland-Smith is hit and miss but I like the one-two punch of Lee and Hernandez. Their bullpen on the other hand... (outside of Aardsma).
Bradley had a decent game last night I thought. Made a couple of nice snags.

Through the 2009 season he is fourth all time in slugging percentage (0.6277) and OPS (1.0547) behind Babe Ruth, Ted Williams and Lou Gehrig. That is some pretty unreal company.

A's take 3 of 4 from the Mariners to start the year. A's got a good performance from Brett Anderson and had a 6-0 lead in the 9th when the M's at least put some pressure on. 6-2 final.
