State troopers arrived at the home of Tiger Woods on Saturday to interview the pro golfer and his wife about a car crash near his home, but were told the couple was not available to talk as scheduled, a spokeswoman for the Florida Highway Patrol said
|
Quote:
"There was Tiger Woods laying on the ground in front of the vehicle with his wife over him rendering first aid," he told reporters.
"He was in and out of consciousness with lacerations to his upper and lower lip," Saylor said. "He was mumbling but didn't say anything coherent."

It said the accident was not alcohol-related.
The SUV, which was drivable, was towed and state troopers didn't take pictures of the scene, she said.
Saylor said the vehicle's front end was damaged.

Facial lacerations to his upper and lower lip? Mumbling incoherently? Breaking out the window to 'drag' him out of the car because he hit a tree and fire hydrant with the front of the car? What, were the jaws of life unavailable to pry open the door that could have just been opened (Unless Tiger locked 'em in fear of his pissed off wife)?

It's not inconceivable that the doors are locked. Many car doors lock automatically once the car starts driving.

Funny - I had not heard that this was the rumour going around, but that is what I was jokingly telling my hockey team had really happened.

So... I can get in an accident and when the cops come to get the details, I can tell them I'm not ready to talk yet. OK, I'll try that next time and see how that works out!!

No way. No way he got into marriage without a solid pre-nup. He wouldn't be that dumb.

I think this is all just a publicity stunt. Eldrick and Ellin probably just want a reality show.

More from TMZ...............
Quote:
During the phone conversation on Friday, Tiger told his friend, "I have to run to Zales to get a 'Kobe Special.'" The person on the other end of the phone asked Tiger what a "Kobe Special" was. The reply -- "A house on a finger."
During the conversation, Tiger said his wife had "gone ghetto" on him.

How does TMZ get hold of this information? Surely the friend is not so stupid as to tell the paparazzi about this. How many people would Tiger tell about this...

You need to understand that TMZ pays a ton of cash for this stuff, it's not like people give it out for free..

This story keeps getting weirder. And Tiger's people are handling it TERRIBLY. Clearly wasn't a happy household on Friday night.
