Going to 18 with a one stroke lead. Incredible.

This guy last won a major in 1983!

Perfect shape with his tee shot, and now Westwood is going to finish -1. So even with a bogey, Watson is in a playoff against Cink. Good chance we see something historic here in the next 10 minutes.

Westwood must be kicking himself now with the 3 putt on 18.

Who needs Tiger? One of the most exciting final rounds in memory.

Wow...did he gack that last putt...but that was set up by what i think was poor choice in putting his 3rd. A little 6 iron pitch would of kept the ball more on line and likely would not of run by as far.

Damn....i just hope he has enough fortitude to go 4 more holes after this.

Nerves got to Watson on his final putt. He didn't follow through with his putter and came up short.

Should be a great 4 hole playoff between Watson and Cink.

I say Cink wins the playoff. I think Watson had his chance. It would be a great story to have Watson win.

A 6 or a 7 iron from the rough would have gotten Watson's ball closer to the green. His ball was half buried making for an extremely difficult putt. Hope that doesn't cost him the Open.

It will be a test of nerves vs experience. I say Watson's experience will come through and get him the Open.

I won't fault him for putting that, under that kind of pressure most pros would choose the lower risk option, knowing that at worst they are going to probably have a ten footer for The Open.

Edit: In the hay at seventeen, things are slipping away right now. He's probably going to need some help from Cink, who can put a dagger in if he hits seventeen in two.

Yeah he did gag that last putt on 18
Never thought nerves would get to him.

"Ball search is underway" ranks up there with the things you never ever want to hear.

Man, Watson got destroyed in the 4 hole playoff. Cink wins by 6 strokes.
