Canadians and hockey fans sure.
What are you even arguing though?

He may not be as popular as Barkley or Cristiano Ronaldo, but is that the cutoff level of popularity to be considered a celebrity by you?

Just Dino7c being himself. Yes, he's a celebrity.

Think of a celebrity as a spectrum.

If your getting in a fist fight in your 40s ler alone 50s I hate to tell you that your a loser. Exception granted for a guy who is defending his family. Outside that its not something to be proud of.

Also I think folks don’t understand fists are only one part of fighting, especially a person who knows combat fighting. You get one punch then your suddenly in a guillotine or arm bar.

But whatever I am guessing if you haven’t grown up by 50 you never will.

They guy just compared meeting him to meeting other celebrities... It's not like he claimed Biz was some globally iconic megastar.

Besides, celebrity is mostly an individual notion. Someone who really loves chess might consider <insert famous chess player's name> to be a celebrity. Who are you (or anyone else) to tell them differently?

Biz is very much a celebrity to me and many other people. In fact, I would be far more excited to meet him than I would be to meet most movie stars.

Edit: Also, I'm a little blown away that you think only 0.1% of Americans know who he is. Not only does he sit opposite Wayne Gretzky on a nationally televised sports event every week in the US on a major network, he's also a founding member of a weekly YouTube broadcast that racks up hundreds of thousands of views each episode. He's not exactly Stephen A. Smith, but give the guy at least a little credit lol.

Relax guys, my point was he isnt much of a celeb in the US. The guys he was brawling with had no idea what they were getting into. We are in a hockey bubble.

Whether you know who he is or you don't, you'd take one look at him and know he's not a guy to start a brawl with

Only losers start fights off the ice. Every man knows that

I think everyone understands that fighting isn’t just fists but I think they also understand that the chances of someone pulling out their amateur MMA moveset is probably close to zero.

Sure but lots of big guys have never actually been in a fight unlike most hockey players

Hopefully they give Biz free meals for life. Although by the sounds of how frequently he goes there it might not end up being very economical for the restaurant lol.
It's all because they were denied something due to rules of the business/premises and had no respect for it

Essentially murican freedumbers.

MMA becoming a popular sport has kind of skewed what people think fighting is. The first couple of years of UFC were pretty close to the truth of what can happen, and a lot of people got hurt in those early bouts, and it wasn't pretty. There are a lot of rules in MMA to stop the type of things that go on in a street fight.

Anyway, 95% of fights are punching and kicking, like this one.
