4th line at home, they can control matchups

Side bar comment. Kyle Connor would look great on the Flames. Straight up trade for Huberdeau and Mantha.

The jets would be all over that.

It happens in every industry, I get that, but it astounds me that after nearly 300 NHL games this guy is still getting NHL reps let alone taking jobs from younger talent.
Why do you guys keep saying that. The first year he was here he was touted as a free agent signing they were very happy about. Then they turfed him to the AHL after about 10 games. Never to return.

Think I’d rather have Klapka in than Mantha.

I also think Miromanov is on his last legs. Pachal and Bahl are definitely better. I don’t think he’s panning out how they hoped. He is better than Hanley though.

Sutter turfed him - not Huska.

I don’t think they are that in love with him. He’s a 4th line center that has played 3 of 10 games and has been scratched for costco at least once. I think they like costco more at this point.

58.4% Corsi For
63% High Danger
63.1% Expected Goals For

4.35% Shooting Percentage
.889 Save Percentage
33.3% GF% (2 GF / 4 GA)

I actually think it has the chance to work if given more time.

The defensive rotation has been head-scratching.

Bean scores his first goal of the year and had his best game of the year maybe...gets sat for 2 games.

Looks like Miromanov found his game a bit...scratched.

They need to get rid of one of Barrie or Hanley...still no idea why they signed Barrie.
I agree. I get Hanley’s role. Journeyman. League min. Sitting in press box 90% of the games. But do you need 2 old guys doing that? Especially if you are going to have a rotation. Why not add a young guy if they are going to get to play 70% of the games in a 4 or 5 player rotation?

The Flames organization has not won a game in that building since the days of Trevor Kidd.

Wouldn't mind a look at a Bean-Miromanov pairing honestly.
I would prefer Miromanov in and Barrie out but I guess if you signed Barrie he should play every fifth game or so.

What’s Hanley’s role?

Sam Honzek gets his first NHL goal tonight. Assist from Backlund.

These anthems are pretty rough. I’m so glad we’ve got the singers we have

I expect most American anthem singers to butcher the Canadian anthem but not both.

I almost wore a golden eagles kidd jersey to the game!

It's weird having a home town team and a team I've suffered with.
