Poor guy will die if lunges at Lucic like that. Reaves was very kind.

I think he didn't really want to fight Reaves and Reaves obliged. Plus it looked like Reaves was a bit tired so he just wanted off the ice.

Boko Imama is a badass name though.

Reaves is a much better fighter than Boku will ever be. Imama loses as much as he wins against opponents. Imama is an average fighter for the most part, and certainly not in the same realms as Lucic, Reaves, Macdermid or Delauriers of the NHl. He is more in the Brendan Lemieux, khaira, Keegan Kosler or Michael Pezzetas category for pugilist ability.

In my estimation they've pretty consistently showed up all season. Just don't get the results due to a lack of finish and/or goaltending.

Tonight you can pretty much guarantee 60+% of shot attempts, shots and scoring chances. But do they only score one goal?

I think it’s about the Flames willing and able to get into the inside/hard scoring areas as opposed to outshooting the other team from the perimeter.

Lack of finish when you’ve got multiple forwards with position within 10-12 feet becomes a nonissue.

That’s what my eyes tell me, not necessarily statistically speaking.

Has to be about results.

But those worried about them showing up seem a little over the top.
In general, the team works hard, but there’s a pretty significant collection of bad efforts against some of the worst teams in the league. The Flames have had bad efforts against Chicago, Columbus, Anaheim, Detroit and Montreal that are pretty memorable for me.

Jets lost! Flames can get within 4 with even games played. Let’s go Flames!! (And Detroit.)

Flames record is .500’ish even with markstrom looking like a nhl calibre goalie of late.

Team sucks, this isn’t hard to see. There is not a measure that indicates this team is actually any good.

How people aren’t cheering for a better draft pick by now makes me question their understanding of the nhl, and cyclical nature team building works in the cap era…
