We should win this one, which means it's going to be a struggle.

I want this team to prove that they can win the"winnable" games. They've left so many points on the table because they don't show up to play on nights like this.
Win and show that the playoff race is being taken seriously.

Must win game.

Fumble this one and the chances to get in diminish even further.

4-2 flames.

Dube with two goals, Pelletier and Coleman.

Need a big win tonight and I’m feeling confident. They played a complete game against Ottawa and let’s hope it continues.

These are the games the Flames typically don’t show up for. So they’ll probably win.

Looking at the standings it looks like Nashville has worked its way ahead of the Flames via games at hand.

At lot of things have to align for the Flames to make the playoffs. Including the Flames playing consistent hockey. Something they seem to be allergic to.

The Flames aren't exactly 1st and goal right now.

It's more like 2nd and 30, on their own 30 yard line.

They need a bunch of successive good plays just to get the goal line. It starts tonight against the Coyote.

If the Flames lose this one the season is over... This time for real.

Always surprised to see how many trot out the "hope the Flames show up".

In my estimation they've pretty consistently showed up all season. Just don't get the results due to a lack of finish and/or goaltending.

Tonight you can pretty much guarantee 60+% of shot attempts, shots and scoring chances. But do they only score one goal?

Hoping for a nice 6-5 regulation loss for the Yotes.

Flames have won 7 in a row against the Yotes, outscoring them 34-14, and have won the last 3 in the desert. The Flames have struggled with some of the lottery teams, but they seem to still be playing the Yotes well. Let's keep it going tonight!

I don't know. Maybe it's more desperation that's missing. I thought they didn't look desperate enough against the Ducks.

Yep, it looked like they just expected to beat them rather than wanting to beat them.

If they weren't going to pounce on them from the opening faceoff they should have pounced on them after they scored but they sat back. Then they didn't really push until the final 10 minutes and Toffoli's chance was the only really dangerous chance.
