Oettinger and Saros are both capable of stealing a series, as is Markstrom.

Time to exorcize some demons in big D!
If we get the preds though, I'm all for it as well. That series would be insanity if it will be anywhere near last night's game for a whole series. Perhaps even one of the greatest series of all times.

That's irrelevant to the context.

Depends what you view as the context. You're talking about 2003, whereas the post you quoted isn't.

Not scared of Soros. He’s 91.

Im shocked at these poll results. Nashville is a real threat. Dallas? Not at all over 7 games.

Dallas loses to Arizona in OT. Will that missed point matter? Stay tuned.

I mentioned this in a previous PGT. The ultimate Flames cup run would look like this:
Round One: Flames avenge their playoff loss to DALLAS
Round Two: Flames murder the Oilers
Round Three: Flames avenge their playoff loss to Colorado
Round Four: Flames avenge their playoff 'loss' to Tampa Bay.

Whichever one that results in lower blood pressure, so probably Dallas
I don't care if it's boring, as long as we win. I hope we dismantle every team we face like the 2012 Kings did.

The Flames haven't had a nice easy first round since 1986. I'd say we're due.

How do you blow a 3 goal third period lead to the Coyotes at home? In a game that matters to you atleast a little.

Either team. If we want to be the true contenders we all think (and hope) we are, we should handily be able to dispatch both teams.

of course last night Francis said he would like to see a nashville matchup, but he hates the Flames, just wants exciting games..I want the matchup that gives us the best chance and limits the chance of injury.

no you are wrong here...we were talking examples of hot goaltenders that took out top teams. GS certainly did that.
The first two examples were
Exhibit A: Vanbisbrouck 1996
Exhibit B: Price 2021
obviously nothing to do with the Flames

All I hope is that Karma comes back to Colorado and they're the 18-19 Flames, amazing season and embarrassing 1st round exit
